NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Hi People,

I have query, my spouse who has PR in Canada and currently based in Canada, we have applied for my PR and have got a confirmation as well that our Sponsorship Application file was received on November 21st 2013 and we received a letter on 20th Dec 2013 about the decision made.

Also for my PR status, its confirmed that:
1) application for PR is received on Nov 21st, 2013 and
2) Medical results have been received.

So just want to know what is the next step, that will follow after the above.

Sunday is so so

frustrating

very rarely ecas status changes on weekends (couple of weeks ago it happened when a ND visa officer was so drunk that he did not know if it was Sunday or Monday...went ahead and changed some statuses on Sunday..since then he has vowed not to do it again since his Mrs. sent him to doghouse where the dog slept on a sofa bed and he slept on the floor drinking water from a dog bowl....next sentence was self censored because of this is a family forum)....cheer up good news is on the way next week

Not really aware about GCMS notes! I can apply but is that going to impact my application process, because I heard every time we contact them they delay the process. So I am just quitely waiting. Where do I have to go or what is the process to apply for GCMS notes?

there is no delay just because your order notes every month (in fact there was one member ,namachii I think, who ordered notes every month till the time he got his visa..there was no delay for him)..notes is processed in Canada (frankly even if it processed in India, New Delhi visa office is not that organized to keep track of your requests). And more over, you are helping Canadian economy (and consequentially re-electing conservative jack*** party). But if you just started the process, it is more likely you will see 'nothing started' in your notes.

from NDVO next step will be 'in process' and then 'decision made'

personally your next step is meditation. This insane process will give you stress so learn to meditate and stay away from checking your status everyday (it is an addiction where many forum members are addicted to..not me just checked only four times today knowing Sunday nothing happens but some are checking 10 times a day even though they just applied last month). This whole process takes 8 to 12 months at least.

Now breath in, breath out..count to ten and do it again, again and again

just curious about the process..does NDVO has to decide to give visa before the medicals expire or they can let the medicals expire and start the process anytime they want? if they give visa, a person has to land in 30 days. So if medicals expire in March 2014, should visa be issued before that (should they choose not to extend the medicals expiry date or ask for re-do medicals)? if medicals has to be redone and it is valid for another year, how much time would they give to move to Canada..is it the same 30 days?

IT'S DM!!! I checked in the morning around 9:30AM Indian time however it was IP. Then this evening at 6:15PM the status changed to DM.

I did not receive any call for address nor my Indian address has changed to Canadian yet.

Received my GCMS notes today. Last few updates on my file are:

06/19 03:04 - passport received by them
11/14 00:52 - interview waiver recommended
11/14 01:59 - waiver confirmed, eligibility passed
11/14 02:04 - all requirement met, file sent for RFV (* ready for visa) check
11/11 13:03 - ATIP requested (wooooh they even include history of my GCMS notes requests)
11/17 10:42 - Financial Eval. Form IMM1283 received
11/25 02:06 - Paper file moved to FCU-RFV

Literally there has was no work done on the file from 06/19 to 11/14 (101 business days or 147 calendar days) .

And it seems that their visa stamp machine had been broken since 11/25 and it was fixed yesterday. ;D

Can't wait to see DM and passport in hand with shiny visa!

W2e status changes to DM ...it has happened today !! They are working hard you see
