Yes certainly. It depends on the sponsor's status. If the sponsor is a citizen there is no issue. However they may ask about intention to return to Canada once the visa is given. This is not guaranteed that they will ask but you never know. If the sponsor is a PR, experts suggest you don't go out of Canada for too long.

It is possible. You need to look at the whole application together to gain understanding as you don't have any obvious red flags.

From my understanding of you GCMS notes that you posted, maybe it is lack of time spent together especially after marriage. Or maybe you as a couple is very young and they may want to know how settled are you in Canada.

Did you visit your wife after marriage from Canada?

Hi after marriage I did not go to see any place with my wife. We sent only mrrg pics. If we did not go anywhere. Could be this main reason for interview

First of all calm down and try to think straight. My GMCS has no beginning of that sort.

Did anything whited out (too many spaces) in your notes? You know your application better than anybody. Are there any obvious things that stand out in your situation? As a starting point, you can reply to that email where you got your GCMS and ask for clarification.

Sometimes, it is normal that security info of the applicant is removed. Did you submit a consent form with the GCMS application? Also are you officially a representative for your spouse's file?

Guys please check your notes...GCMS , the beginning letter - does it say that certain info is exempt from ur notes due to particular acts? ie. 16(1)(c) or 22(1) or something else? My heart is racing and I'm freaking out :,( m I the only one ? Or is this common ?

Totally understand your state of mind. But this is normal before an immigration interview. If I were you, I would concentrate on gathering all the details as much as I can and then concentrate on one and only thing that your marriage is genuine and nothing can disprove it because you know it is true and you believe it totally.

How are you feeling right now... Waiting for that critical day! My husband and I are going through so different types of emotion... Excitement to see each other... Fear of having an officer in a bad mood the day of interview... Impatient to share our story and show our love with them.. Stress of messing up the interview by being confuse in dates and details like that(i'm so bad to remember dates!!!)...

Just dreaming to be suddenly after our interview and exiting the office after hearing the officer saying we believe your relationship is geniuine you'll receive your remedical letter in few days... Happy married life! ... Then being able to tell my hubby... You see... We stressed for nothing... Everything was fine... We passed successfully the interview...

What a dream... Wish this dream will come true in a bit more than 3 weeks... Really wish... :

It is possible that they blank out some security info about the applicant. This is not an expert advice just something I gleaned out of other threads. Did you submit the consent form along with the GCMS notes application? Also are you the representative for your spouse's application?

Hello everyone,

I was looking at my GCMS notes. I am a little concerned about a few lines that are left blank on the summary page.
They have mentioned about 5-6 lines to describe our relationship but in the next paragraph approx. 5 lines are missing or whitened out.
What could this mean? If any one has any idea why they withhold certain information from the GCMS notes, i would really appreciate it.

My husband is a PR and after his sponsorship got approved...he came to india and we stayed together for 4 months...he had plans to stay with me and take me along with him when i get my visa but cz of the strike ...the process got delayed n he had to go back. I dont think there's any issue staying in india

Yes , parts are whited out and strangely more is whited out in second notes than the first ones - so I can see some info that got removed second time . One of the notes said some info was exempt under section 16(1)(c)? OMG sounds serious. Yes there maybe some "red flags" as it's called , as a couple we may not be considered typical .and yes proper consent was given thanks
