Hi, I need a help from you guys. I have recently got my PP request and sent to Delhi office. Now the mobile number I am using is on my friend's name and is asking that SIM back. I made my fren to wait till now but as its related to our office work and I am no way related to office work currently, I am forced now to return it back.
Can we change the contact number mentioned in the application? I can only see the change in address but not the contact number. I dont want to miss the calls from CIC and cant wait longer.

Not sure how its going to effect my application.

pls advise me on this.

Hi... Today iwas just checking my documents and saw that the name of my husband on the joint account bank copy is written satnam singh instead of his orignal name .... When icalled the bank ... They ve the real name saved in the computer is correct...
Is it going to ruin my case ???
My file is in process since 19 th november

I seriously doubt if it will ruin your case. If you submit 10 supporting documents and one has issues then it is most likely they might ask you about it. I believe if the issue merits serious answers they will call you (not sure if this will end in an interview)

if you live in New Delhi or nearby maybe you can try going there..generally they won't let you in unless you have an appointment. Not sure how much time you save by going there. These days you can do express delivery so that it is delivered the next day. But if you have time and want to spend money on trip and you have a good luck then you might be able to submit it. It might require crying, begging the security guard, wailing, rolling on the ground and create a scene or asking for Anna's help for hunger strike.

Ur PP will deliver at NDVO next day n u will get a delivery msg

I think you can use case inquiry (I think it allows you to update NDVO about change in address, and other information) form to let them know change of telephone number

No need to worry at all. Even i got my address changed recently all u have to do is send them an email requesting them to update ur contact no...in my case i did it 3-4 times n after few weeks my address was updated on their website... Dont worry

I have also applied for my wife on 5th April 2013 and delhi office requested for passport in May end. e-cas shows that they received my file on 5 april, medical received and file in process from 15 oct, 2013. after that my wife got a call from delhi office asking for copy of fee receipt ($1040) which i sent on 1st nov, 2013. after that no communication. I was expecting passport back in Dec with PR... :-(

ANY IDEA....HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE???

Any email or phone number where i can contact them....or can my wife go to delhi office in person...plz respond[/size]

I dont think anyone can tell how long will it take...what u can do is give them a call...ask them...but going to their office is of no use they wont entertain you at all..so it is better to call them..good luck

I my case i got my passport mailed by govt. Courier speed post service ....going personally wont help.
They acknowledged that they have received my passport by sending an email to me.
