MP ENQUIRY DONE..

MP EMAIL TO MY HUBBY

Hi G.M
This is what we have in response to our query from Delhi. They have mentioned the timeline for action. My suggestion is to wait till mid Jan. before we do any further follow up.
Regards

EMAIL RECEIVED FROM NDVO

Dear A.M

This refers to your enquiry below.

This application was received at our office on July 15, 2013 and is currently awaiting initial review, following which we will contact the applicant directly to advise of any additional information or action required.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please visit this website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/menu-perm.asp. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.india.gc.ca, for more information about processing times. Applicants can also check the status of their case on the CIC website by selecting the link for Client Application Status: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en.

I trust that this information will be of assistance in responding to your constituent.

Sincerely,

why NDVO even bothers to send a generic response! their precious finger nail will break if they have to hit the send button. They should have a link where they can compile all the generic responses to various questions and send us the link and ask us to choose whatever is appropriate from the generic responses.

in your case maybe they received your physical application by ship...it takes two months by ship...I am glad that they did not receive your application before you mailed it in....that will be one for science fiction....it is sheer laziness they don't even put the right date in the template that they have....

It could be because of the strike as the NDVO was on strike.

May be there is something wrong with the date they provided you :D

Or may be they must have cleared the backlog with the applications together.

I am only assuming. (That's all we can do)

Which means they try to complete 80% applications within 6 months once received to NDVO ( This is how they calculate the processing time, as per the email provided ehhhh)

So by now I should have been in process with u Myrah7?? Nohhhh ;)
