Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry.

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application has been reviewed by a visa officer who has waived the requirement for an interview.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

What additional u got yes it does delay the process

Hello again everybody!! Hope you are all well. From the sounds of things, it looks like everything is slow again right now.

My additional documents have been in Delhi for two months now. Still no ecas change (application received). So it's true that they only start processing once they have the additional documents? So will it be 12 months from when they received them? Starting to get annoyed with this system now...

on the one hand, I feel positive that atleast they responded to your inquiry though it took a long time. On the other hand, i am sarcastic when I write 'ok einstein we all know that interview has been waived and you are doing background checks..tell me something new rather than this generic response' it is your call to choose from this two sides of my response

Hi Mahi, once they get the documents, they will keep quiet for sometime... Maybe for 1-2 months and then start processing again. So submit them as soon as possible. They don't start processing as soon as they get them but the longer you delay, the longer your application is delayed.

Looking good for you Myrah! :D :D
At least they responded. But they didn't call you again?

Why is there an ADR for all the applications which mentioned that there was a divorce? And why ask for the divorce documents again when they have already been submitted along with the applications? Are the NDVO stupid or are they plain lazy? >:( >:( >:(
Why do they have to delay everything??
