Hey guys,
Do u know in what order they assess the documents? I mean security, criminality, medical...which comes first which second? or depends on officer? I submitted remedical 2 weeks ago. still no visa..med is updated though in ecas and in-process for a month

hey desigirl thanks for the info i called them again later today close to closing and this other person at cic-m is telling me that i should get something today or tomorrow @ #$% im confused how can one say 90 days and the other is telling me that today or tomorrow, so i checked again now still the same, maybe tomorrow

The entire process is usually very confusing, but CIC-M is much more predictable than NDVO. Wait until next week and then call them again if still no SA.

I think it's usually medicals first, then criminality and security. But NDVO is known to take its time after additional documents have been received by them. And in your case, I think everything has been cleared except your re medicals so it should not take too long. Hopefully you will get a visa stamped passport in early January (because NDVO seems to be hibernating this month or trying to lay eggs on all the ADRs)

I think it should be done since they asked you for re medical so all of them should be done. Lets hope for the visa soon for you. Re medical might take a month to get visa approval. You will get a visa soon by this month so hopefully they are doing something too. If its on xmas then you will be lucky one. Wish you a speedy visa sooon!

Myrah is enjoying spending time with her hubby who is visiting her
I think we should let them enjoy their time together. I am sure she will give this forum her full attention afterwards, hopefully from Canada (praying she gets her DM and PP while her plus and is her so they can go back together)
I am happy though that she is at least managing to give the forum a few hours still. I am sure she must be very busy now with lots of things to do outside of the forum.

Thats so true! She must be very happy to be with him now so hopefully Myrah will get dm before her husband leaves to Canada. We should pray for her to get dm or visa sooon so she can go with husband back to Canada. Wish you a luck for the visa soon Myrah!

I have crossed finger as well. As, if everything happens on 19th, then i might get lucky as well. As, i am finishing 6 months on 19th. So far from forum I have learn that the NDVO touch the file 6 months from application date, there is either some movement or provides some kind of updates on few files. So, even good time to apply for GCSM notes after 6 months..............

one more week to go for you to see change in status from 'IP' to 'DM'...everything happens on the 19th....
