siyad - may 17th applicant went into IP today :) started processing from 2nd December

Nice.... Congrats :)

I got AOR via Email. They gave me a UCI number and an application number.
Does it mean my application as a sponsor is approved..or this email is just an acknowledgement from CIC that they have received my application?
AOR Date: 10-DEC-2013

I think it is just an acknowledgement of receipt of your application (AOR- Acknowledgement Of Receipt);next step will be transfer of file to New Delhi and at that stage your sponsorship is approved; then wait begins - watch the forum; check ecas every hour; if passport request not done then apply for notes; worrying when status will change; use four letter words to describe ND visa officers since you are loosing your patience...

i understand :( but the forum has been quite for sometime now hasnt it.. that got me wondering... i still don understand... doesnt the NDVO understand wat living wid their family means? and if there was a transparent process and known guided timeline.. so many of us wont be worried at all :(

The NDVO is in the party mode.....they must be out clubbing and drinking and eating turkeys......only after that they will look into our files......they must be the most lazy bums on earth....

if all the husbands tell their wives (atleast half the truth in their stories) what really happens then all hell will break loose...every husband follows this mantra 'what happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas' like that what happens in Canada, stays in Canada..just kidding..I have won the most honest man in the world award and please check Guinness book of records to confirm it (and in dictionary the meaning for 'waiting 2 exhale' you see the explanation 'honest act' e.g. I went to the store, paid for my thing but by mistake more money and cashier did the 'waiting 2 exhale' returning $20 back.)

haha....good one....lol

Hey Robin Panday...

I was in USA on H1B visa for last 3 yrs and before marriage and when I was in USA I tried to find out is there any way I can apply from USA but suggested solution is apply from India and that's a quicker one so after marriage I stayed in India and Applied PR.

So there is no any feasible solution you can apply from USA based on Work Permit.

Good luck with your application.

When you are on H1B visa cant you apply on dependent visa? I am sure USA you have better chance to get her early and then apply from there......Because of this USA thing there is lot of tension in my in laws family as they are saying that USA people take them in like a month or 2 so you should explore that option.....check with other.....

Oh, US and its quick dependent visa man. It is hurting us too. Although the spouse cant work, cant go to school or no medicare.

Alas.

Guys do u think all of us waiting from oct/Nov will get our DM before Christmas or new year at least?

some people got it within 3 weeks and some people are still waiting for three months (there was one waiting since July) ..so it is difficult to say if you will get it before christmas or new year...best approach dealing with NDVO is not to have any expectations at all (I know it is hard)

Hmm!! I guess you are right. Once the application is forwarded to CHC-ND, than I will receive a letter from CIC-Mississauga for sponsorship approval. Until than!! fingers are crossed

yeah at least the spouse is with you and saves a lot of headache especially the rishtedars who will be pointing guns at the boy or girl if the spouse does not go soon enough.....that's the thing I don't like the risthedars will be more bothered about others than mind their own business....they are the same category as NDVO I would say

Hey!!! What about June applicants????. Really this wait is killing.... Now no more courage to wait.....

I am hoping that June applicants will be processed in January to February. We are almost there I am sure. Good luck!
