hello guys any idea how much more time for july applicants....it seems like f***n NDVO is going to take this whole month to process may applicants (2 months in total to process may applications)......i can not tell my wife, next month baby next month, anymore.....this wait is really straining our relationship....our 1st aniv. is in march hopefully it comes before that... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

honestly it is bit early to expect any movement with july applications....they don't touch applications for 6 months then they open and then go back to sleep...it is straining relationships but strengthens too since it is both of you deciding to get your visa no matter what...hang in there and if you have not received passport request, order 'notes'

You are a may applicant. You should get your passport request long ago. Have you got your gcms notes or mp enquiry?

How is NDVO processing the applications?? I'm a 28th May applicant and my status says Application Received and they have started processing 29th May applicant.. I don't understand what are they trying to do..!!

that's the way ndvo works... >:(........this is the same trend they have been following ...they did the same thing with jan feb march and april applicants ...still some 23 ppl waiting and now its may applicants turn for few to wait for few more months.....disgusting pattern !!

Ive been hearing about some quota issues wid the NDVO, is it true? is that the reason we re not getting too many IPs or DMs or PR?

if that was the case when they went on strike for 6+ months ......there were hardly any visa's given in that period...so this quota thing is kind of berserk to me.... and makes no sense....coz they need to give us double the amt of visa's for the loss of 6 months !!

did mp inquiry once and applied for notes twice...both notes (recent one in October) said 'nothing started' including passport request...

i understand :( but the forum has been quite for sometime now hasnt it.. that got me wondering... i still don understand... doesnt the NDVO understand wat living wid their family means? and if there was a transparent process and known guided timeline.. so many of us wont be worried at all :(

it is no use trying to understand NDVO process...their process is not 'first come, first served'. Some officers work (so you see some people getting visas faster than others) while lots of them sleep or look at the clocks.

they should give some reason or they could ask for any documents if they need. This is not fair.

there is no quota issue for 'spousal visas'...if they have quotas atleast we can be satisfied that we were not lucky this year so wait for next year...nobody knows why they take their own time for scheduling an interview (one has to wait for two to three months to know about interview date)...even if it is a complicated case , not sure why some people have to wait for 1.5 years to know about their fate

I have a feeling that they are preparing my passport and stamping visa on a fresh passport (yeah, right! wake up, wake up... you are not a ND visa officer to sleep and have dreams at work)...as for fairness we are dealing with immigration there is no such thing called fairness (why should an applicant be denied because of age difference? why should they charge so much for visa fees so that only people who can afford can apply? why after providing tons of documents as proof of genuine relationship, they still question and deny visa?) Thank god there is an appeal board otherwise the whole system is stacked up against an applicant...I can hear the pro-government supporters saying 'if you don't like Canada, stay out' or 'trying applying to Saudi Arabia if you hate our system of process'

yay!!! meds updated on ECAS finally! :D now DM Plzzz come soon
