Thanks Myrah for the information. Gone through the notes. I have some doubts for which i need answer from experts

1. PPR from NDVO on 26-sep-13

2. send passport on 28-Sep-13

3. Requested GCMS notes on 28-0ct-13

4. Received GCMS notes on 19-nov-13

But while going through notes i couldnt see anywhere they received passport but my tracking number shows it was received already.
Will NDVO update every time they receive document or they do it when they start reading that file.

If it showed that it was received already then they got it for sure. Dont worry too much about it. They will update you when they start working on your file. You have to wait for sometimes. All the best for your visa soon!

Oh kk hmm i think that you have to wait until they email you for re do medical letter. Jst wait for sometimes. You havent answered my questions yet. When did you apply the sponsorship application and when did your file transfer to ndvo? If you dont mind to tell us. Thanks

Do not worry. If the tracking number shows that they received your passport, then they have it. GCMS notes are only for what is happening with your paperwork, where they are in the processing, etc. Basically, what the NDVO is doing with your file. I would suggest printing the tracking page and keeping it for your records in case NDVO turns around saying that they didn't receive it. But I am sure they will have....They may just update after a few months have passed.

NDVO can extend medicals if they want to so I guess you will have to wait and see what NDVO will do. Hope the interview went smoothly. What questions did they ask?

Hi, welcome to the forum. I am a July applicant with very similar timeline to you. But I haven't applied for GCMS notes yet because the NDVO is still working on May applications. Will apply if needed when they start with July applications... Hopefully in January. The whole system is messed up because there is no transparency how the visa officers work. Lots of people have many complaints about them. But what can we do except just accept our circumstances until a decision has been made on our files? Even if we question NDVO or MPs, we only get general responses most times.

I came back and applied for spouse sponsorship and waiting...
please someone help me! When these people will give me the good news?

hello, did you try applying for GCMS notes? it might tell you if there is anything missing in the application. I would suggest to talk to your MP? that might help.. good luck

YES THEY SHOULD...I WONDER WHEN CIC MISSISSAUGA CAN ASSESS AND MAKE DECISION FOR SPONSOR IN 3 WEEKS WHY CAN'T NDVO DO THE SAME, ALL THE SPOUSAL CASES TO RESPECTIVE VO'S COME THRU CIC-M ONLY NA..AMAZING!! SAME WORK LOAD BUT 20 TIMES MORE TIME.. STILL THEY WENT ON STRIKE FOR MORE SALARY...WHEN PEOPLE DEMAND RIGHTS.. THEY SHOULD NOT FORGET THEIR DUTIES...

So, your case is exactly like me..I got married in Aug 2012, filled in Jan 2013 and file went inprocess in Aug2013. Does your spouse have any Canadian travel history?

hi, in my GCMS notes, under the "NOTES" section, i saw they had written that they received my wife's passport. So I think there should be something in your notes. This is at the very end of the file. in mine it was in the second last page.

Can anyone else confirm they see similar notes in their files?
