Is there anyone in 2012-13 forum who have got decesion made on their file before MP given Time Frame. MY Mp have suggest me to wait till March 2014. I am Jan 29 2013 Applicant before she said to wait till November now March... So confused

Desi Girl we have checked our mailbox thoroughly and there is no email from CHC Delhi for passport request.Can I send an email to NDVO or can tell my wife to make a phone call to NDVO to check ?

you should wait for PPR rqst surely u will get it soon. here so many people's waited for 4 5 month to get PPR. Dnt wry

Frankly, I don't know what time zone I am living in right now...lol... It's very difficult sometimes. Hopefully, I don't change into sleeping beauty because of the lack of sleep...

global case system management (I think...). It is used by sponsor to find out where and what happened to his/her application. If you did not receive a passport request within two months after the file transfer, you ask for 'notes' to see the history of the file; if you think your file is in the basement or attic of New Delhi visa office and sitting there hatching more mini files, you order notes to see how many mini files does the visa officer has; if there is no movement in your file for a long time, you order notes to see in which visa officer's house it is being used by his/her child as a toy; some people in this forum apply for notes every month and it has not annoyed any visa officer...so you can order every month you want and it takes 30 days to get it for electronic version...this is all written in jest..seriously the reason you apply for notes is to find out the status of your application. It is easy and it costs $5 and you help Canadian economy.

Sponsorship approval - 24 Sept 2013

File Transfer to New Delhi - 26 sept 2013


I got confirmation of application received and file transfer to NDVO by email which I mentioned in my application.

Upto now I haven't got PPR. Do they ask by email or postal mail for submission of passport.

they send by email so check your junk folder as well so that you dont miss that....

in my case i realized about GCMS notes too late. my wife did not receive any PPR in email. I applied for GCMS after 6 months of application which was my fault and i found out that the PPR was sent in May. But luckily the day i received GCMS, my wife also got a call from NDVO to submit her passport. My recommendation - wait for 2.5 months since your application filed date and then apply for GCMS, you should get a PPR or atleast you will know if the PPR was sent.

I went to NDVO personally with my wife when i was in India in september but they treated me like a nobody (even though i am a canadian citizen and my taxes pay their salary). one thing they told me that dont send any important docs like PP unless they ask for it. when they are asking means they will be expecting it. If you see PPR in your GCMS then send them an email so they will confirm for PPR.

I had told u Delhi sucks... Received pp without visa. There was another letter too for re medical. But last medical is still valid till dec 7( delhi had received it on dec 7,2012). I dont know whats going on. Ecas in-process

Ahh that suckss to do medical again but its weird because its only two weeks left and they supposed to give you dm before two weeks medical expiry. Weirdo! You are almost there to get dm after re do medical done nxt month before xmas. Dont worry! All the best for visa soon!

Got the passport today with SHINY VISAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
To summarize:
IP on November 11th
DM on November 18th
Passport received on November 21st.

Guys, the big day will come for you all very soon.. don't feel sad.. in order to make up for their strike, they dare not delay all your applications coz they know how angry everyone is and so they're not gona act smart and delay the applications for atleast a good amt of time now.
