OMG guys!!! Saw the best two words in the English language right now on my Ecas - Decision Made!!!! Here is my timeline:

Application received by CIC-M: 22nd March 2013
Meds done: Feb 2013
AOR: April 2013
Sponsorship approval and File Transfer: 16th April 2013
PPR: 22nd May 2013
In process: 7th Oct 2013 as per Ecas (Change in status happened post 10th Oct)
Decision Made: 1st Nov 2013

I had stopped checking Ecas from September 23rd onwards coz I was tired of seeing the same status. My husband had told me that he checked Ecas on Oct 9th and it was still Application received and Medical results have been received.

Post Oct 9th, he checked Ecas again only on Oct 30th night and that's when we found out that my status was In Process since Oct 7th as per the website and I guess the status got updated on the website only post October 10th which is why we were not aware of it when he had checked before on Oct 9th. So I guess my Decision Made status got updated on Ecas either 31st Oct or today 1st Nov!

So so so happy! Just waiting for my passport now and hoping to see the shiny visa in it!!

This forum has provided a lot of strength and also a lot of helpful information. Thanks a lot guys!!! My best wishes to all for a speedy DM! May God bless everyone with good news soon

Has any one any idea that my sister sponsored us UNDER PARRENTS AND GRAND PARRENTS "including 3 dependent childern" in 2010 from Mississuage CPC, In August we were asked to fill variuous forms and were asked to submit police report, birth certificate and personal history etc within 3 monts. we filed all these to Mississauga CPC in early October 2013 and the Canadian Post receipt print out shows that the case was received.

NOW HAS ANY ONE ANY IDEA THAT HOW LONG MISSISSAUGA CPC TAKES TO FURTHER TAKE UP OUR CASE AND WHAT COULD BE THE NEXT STEPS?

Quick question guys...

My wife's file went in process on sept 18th and she got a call on oct 10th from NDVO to submit her passport. we shipped the passport on the same day. On oct 10th, i got my GCMS notes as well saying that interview waiver has been put thru and the relationship is genuine. Now any idea on roughly how long will it take to get the passport back with visa? in the GCMS notes it mentioned that they sent a PPR request on May 30th but we didnt receive any email from NDVO so they called us in Oct.

are there anyone here similar to my case?

hey DDP2299 ......... Simranaulakh16 had the same issue...... she's a jan applicant and got a call on aug 7th to submit pp and she went in ip also same day....and their dm was on 28th oct........so u can hear good news approx from 4-6 weeks max......don't worry in nov itself u will get your pp bk with visa good luck
