Our total processing time is 12 months now the after strike. 1 month in Canada and 11 months in New Delhi.

The 11 months processing time for New Delhi is an "Average" time span. According to them 80% of applications are being processed in 11 months. It all depends on case by case status. It should be faster for applicants whose interviews have been waived. But there could be other factors like Security checks etc that could delay an application and the processing could take longer than 11 months in New Delhi.

cn anyone plz tel me dat whether in gcms notes they mention our contct number or nt....I dnt find ours in our notes so m worried...plz help... thanks..

I think the main thing is status of your application, not the contact details. They already have your contact details with them. So don't worry about ph number. When your medical expires? What does it say about status?

Hi May applicants,

Received my GCMS notes today (data pulled Oct 21st) - absolutely nothing done on the file since June :( ...I was hoping to see some work in progress at least under eligibility review so that I could expect In Process next month...Eligibility Status : Not started :\

So now moving my hopes onto December!

Anyone else from May saw any updates on GCMS, especially Interview recommendations? Totally hoping for a MAY in-process parade to start next week (new month!) - wish u all the very best!

My timeline (Myrah - pls add to the list)

Application Filed: 17 May 2013
Medicals Done: 17 Feb 2013
Sponsorship Approved: 04 Jun 2013
File Transferred to Local Consulate: 04 Jun 2013

Hi everyone, I am following this forum since June 2013. I am sponsoring my husband in New Delhi but got refused last June 2013,so I submitted a new application and got the AOR on Sept 11 and at the same day they transferred the file to NDVO. I'm just wondering if it will take like 11 months to give the decision of my application? Can anyone help me please. Thanks

Hi ashvin22, I feel the file status can change within a day, so don't loose hope, u never know, may be ur file was picked up for processing after Oct 21. I also think each officer reviews their assigned files as per their convenience, like an officer might review it according to date of application filed, another might review as per passport request date & so forth. But thats just my opinion. We can never figure out how they work.
I just applied for notes today. Did you receive the email confirmation for gcms notes immediately after u applied or after couple days? I didnt receive the confirmation email yet.
I'll update everyone once i receive it, but lets hope our files get done bfore that.

Congratulations! To the both of you. But keep praying for the rest of us

Thanks miss_b. Do you think they will not consider my first application before and my husband's interview? Because the VO told my husband that there was a technical fault in our marriage certificate, should be registered to Special Marriage Act rather than Hindu Marriage Act. Are they going to check the whole file again? Thanks
