it used to be 6 months then 9 months then went to 10 and now 11 months coz of strike and so much backlog........yes it will take u that much time...dec or early next yr.........don't worry time will fly soon... ask him to come down and visit u for few weeks....

it moved to 11 months now??? :'(
thats the problem he doesnt get lot of leaves from his work and he wanna save those leaves to come n get me after i get my visa.
i guess all i have is to wait for my visa at home.

the day this forum is silent means no chg in e-cas (e-cas chged several times already this week)........definitely means ndvo is workin on our files this week dm ppl will get pp bk with visa......and ip ppl will get dm......

and medical date was in august

AOR -acknowledgment of receipt - u get this once once CIC receive your application ........with a file no and uci no...............haven't u got all this??
if u got passport request means your hubby has been approved as a sponosor....so u must have recd even a sponsorship letter or mail by cic ?

ok so my hubby got a mail from them telling him he has been approved by the cic then i got the mail asking for my passport and pcc...which i sent them right after i got the mail.thats it..after that nothing else. i didnt get any sponsorship letter

yes so its the same letter .....u didn't get uci no? or file no? to check your status on e-cas online cic .> can u give me your date of sponsorship approval ?

date of sponsorship is 9th july and passport request is 7th july ?? how is it possible I think u have got your dates all mixed up......
