well.. we got to know that my file reached delhi and NDVO sent an email to me only after my wife called cic call center. question is how do we contact NDVO to know i they got my email address correct. coz apparantly they already sent me an email which i havent received..

getting an answer from NDVO is more difficult than Tom Cruise's actions in 'mission impossible' movies..NDVO is an enigma wrapped in a mystery ...apparently sending an email or going there doesn't yield any results

If u call CIC they can confirm the correct email on file

Also u could send them a "case specific email" and explain ur concern very clearly

koi sada v kuch kr do hun

1. Is it true that everyone's applications are always processed and completed WITHIN the 11 months timeframe?
And if at all it takes more than 11 months it is only for the Interview/additional docs requested/complicated cases?

OR is it possible that the interview is Waived and everything is in order and STill our application can take more than 11 months to process?

2. Also, when we jan-march 2013 applicants had applied, at that time there was no strike going on, and the total processing time on the website said 11 months (1 + 10). After the strike they changed the total processing time to a total of 12 months (1 + 11).

So is it true that for us jan-april applicants also our processing time is 12 months or does it remain 11 months?

Our total processing time is 12 months now the after strike. 1 month in Canada and 11 months in New Delhi.

The 11 months processing time for New Delhi is an "Average" time span. According to them 80% of applications are being processed in 11 months. It all depends on case by case status. It should be faster for applicants whose interviews have been waived. But there could be other factors like Security checks etc that could delay an application and the processing could take longer than 11 months in New Delhi.
