Hey , how do you that your medicals expire on Nov 2nd ?? can you please share is this the date you gave your medicals or it is given in your notes or some where else or the person who called you mentioned it??

I was under the impression that after we give medicals, the doctor have to process and then send to NDVO and it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks after we give medicals and the exact expiry date is given on the GCMS notes...correct me if I am wrong.

example my wife gave medicals on last week of Dec 2012 and the expiry on GCMS notes is given as last week of Jan 2014...one month after the medicals date.

BTW congrats on your VISA.

In my case we got an email from NDVO saying:
Dear Applicant,

This is with reference to your application for Permanent Residence in Canada.
Kindly provide us with your passport as soon as possible. Please be advised your medicals are valid till 21November 2013.

notes and GCMS are all the same..to add more confusion, right way to say is ATIP...in Britain, they spell potato with an 'e' and in America, it is without an 'e'. It is all the same.

congrats..atleast NDVO is sensitive to people whose medicals are going to expire..though the timing was too short and your wife has to rush to Canada, it could be worse..NDVO could have asked your wife to redo the medicals and the waiting extended

But when my wife made request last month she paid $5. Bcoz in the end of filling all the information online that website led her to the web-page where she has to pay $5.

My wife is Canadian Citizen by birth.

that's what I have read on this forum. I neva applied for gcms.

thanks..most of the stuff that I am writing have already been discussed in this forum...as for stamina, it is raining heavily where I am now..I got two choices one watch serials on Indian TV and get dizzy watching the camera focusing in and out on various people and yell at bad TV mother in law or provide answers to some questions and be useful...I am a trainee in waiting and when Myrah is kicked out of this forum when she gets her visa, I will be replacing her until I am kicked out this forum..unfortunately nobody paying me anything but I encourage you all to pass a collection plate and give me money for food
