applied for PR through Family Visa. Now my question is when i check for application status > Permanent residence from outside Canada > Under the category i don't find anything such as "spousal Sponsorship". So i end up checking it this way - check for application status > sponsorship > sponsoring a spouse living outside Canada > n then enter my name and check the status. Is this the right way of checking it coz am being sponsored and my wife is the sponsor. Or do i have to wait till i hear from NDVO to be able to check my part of the application as sponsored spouse.

I got the GCMS today, Please let me know Where can i find the information regarding the PPR email.

Is there any one who missed the PPR email and found the request through GCMS notes

Now when u see ur GCMS notes there will section named : Correspondence , In which there is Outgoing sub section . First there will be mention of ur SA n then there will 2 Outgoing which states , Item Requested . Check In there

its the right way -- if you use sponsors uci it will show sponsorship approvals status only and if you use applicants uci or file,number thn u can check both i.e. Sponsorship approval status and PR application status -- can u please share your timeline so that Myrah or Prasamp can add you to the spreadsheet. For this u need to provide the following dates :

app filed?
app rcd by cic?
aor?
file transfer?
PPR?
medical done date?

I sponsored my husband on may 27th,2013 and ppr was on July 2nd
and he submitted on July 11th but Ecas still shows application received
I am coming to India on dec 27th as my anniversary z on 30th of dec
And m gonna stay there for 8 weeks hopefully we got some gud news in dat period.should I go for GCMS notes b4 I leave for india

no it's not like dat i always use my uci to check app status I am the sponser
And it shows me sponcership app status and the pr app status also.

maybe i wrote it vice-versa. I think when we use applicants uci it shows pr status only. Thanks for correcting me
