1 hour break ?? its more like 1 hour of work and 7 hours of break...I work for the govt. of canada..and i see how fast things move...

Wait till december..and everyone will stop working...thats how the govt. mentality is...unfortunately.
and yes..FK PAFSO! ..things have slowed down more after strike ..incredible!

2 Questions...

1. Will there be any difference in the process (eg: speedy process) weather the sponsor is a Canadian citizen or a PR holder.. ?

2.Will it be helpful (like speedy process) if the sponsor and applicant got married in Canada (while the applicant was on visit, and then came back to India and applied for PR...the marriage certificate, marriage license, etc was issued from Govt. of Canada) ?

Thnks

I think they process faster the files of citizen as compared to a pr holder personal experience only but not sure as they give more priority to the citizen.

Then why do they give privilage to citizens to stay out of country with their spouse till they dont get visa so just an expectation bcoz i knw a couple of citizen whose spouse file was processed in 3 months so just a guess not sure

i know few pr holders whose process was all done within 3 mths. So v cant say anything -- every case is diff.

I think if u get married in Canada u have to apply inward and rem if application is denied u cannot appeal.....and inward application is much longer..

I echo that. My friend's wife was here in 3 1/2 months ..and hes not a citizen...so i dont think its got anything to do with PR or Citizen.

Don't think so! I'm a Canadian Citizen by birth and i'm waiting since January. We will even have an interview! So it is only case by case and also random! No favoritism for citizens!
