VSN said:Guys,
Received a mail from the NDVO today. They have asked me to go for a fingerprint scan 2 weeks from now. As part of background checks. ??? ???
I really don't know why I am asked to give my fingerprints at this stage. Worrying.
God knows for how much longer this is going to be delayed. What stage is background check? Is it post eligibility and medical usually? :/
Please pray! Thanks and hugs to all waiting!
I lived in canada too. For almost two and a half year... But pcc from canada has already my fingerprints in there.. Don't worry its just normal I guess...
Oh, gud luck. My wife's case is some what similar to yours. She was in canada as studet for 3 years before we got married. We dint attach pcc from canada in her file.VSN said:NDVO :/
I think they want to check background the duration which spent in canada, by system you not have to submit Police clearance coz you stayed less then 6 months. As they requested for Finger Print means NDVO is currently working on your file so sent them a Finger Print ASAP and don't worry muchVSN said:around 3-4 months. Similar situation?
They fixed an appointment for me and sent it too! I have to go to NEw Delhi and give my fingerprint. And you are very right about the probable reason for the request. Jeez! Thanks but I dunno if this is going to further delay my file.kejalmistry said:I think they want to check background the duration which spent in canada, by system you not have to submit Police clearance coz you stayed less then 6 months. LOL. I concur. But they don't have my fingerprints coz I was in Canada for less than 6 months. I guess it is for the sake of keeping their system in place.primoo said:This must sound really stupid and I know NDVO is really stupid.
They just want to match your fingerprints from what they have on file.... bunch of idiots man!
Yes. But if she was there for more than 6 months she should have attached the PCC right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Have you received any communication from NDVO yet?Gsingh88 said:Oh, gud luck. so, are you going to ND to submit your fingerprint, It may possible on same day they will give you Stamped PassportVSN said:They fixed an appointment for me and sent it too! Nothing yet only file transfer email, but i am planing to send pcc now to ndvo, before they ask for it. Its bit of proces to get pcc. She will have to send her fingerprints here from india approved by local police. Than i will have to submit application to rcmp.VSN said:Yes. haha. Fat chance. There's another applicant on FB - Rubinder Singh - who got a call for fingerprint scanning for similar reasons 2 weeks ago. He is still waiting for his visa. :/ I am so depressed!kejalmistry said:so, are you going to ND to submit your fingerprint, It may possible on same day they will give you Stamped Passport
If you haven't received your PPR, you are lucky. Coz in the PPR it clearly asks for your PCC, if not submitted already. And yes, I would suggest you start with the procedure right away.Gsingh88 said:Nothing yet only file transfer email, but i am planing to send pcc now to ndvo, before they ask for it.
