i received my gcms notes last month. When i accidentally checked it my contact number was updated with my home landline number. and mostly i will be out for work.

What should i do now to update my mobile number in the system?

I assume you can send an email or letter to NDVO (or is it CIC) to inform them about change in phone number..glad that NDVO does not asks apology letter (3 copies sent to three different authorities duly notarized by district commissioner) or carry your land line with you wherever you go

As i had applied in february 2013 for spousal sponsorship and PP was requested in april 2013.
As i don't have family name on my passport,
my first and middle (or last) name is under Given name.
So is there something that I might be doing wrong while filling the details to check the status?
because it says we are unable to process your request.
So please tell me the exact procedure to check my application status.

under MY APPLICATION
click application staus
then select sponsorship
select spouse ... common .....
check check box
fill up file number
fill ur name as :" abc singh
date of birht year/month/ date like 1980/00/00
select india ..................
here we go

i have only first and middle name too . i use middle name to check my application status . i use kaur as last name

HI FRIENDS! IM A SEPTEMBER APPLICANT. OUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECENTLY TRANSFERRED TO NDVO. LOOKING AT EVERYONE'S TIMELINE HERE I HAVE A FEELING THAT I MIGHT GET MY PPR ANYTIME NOW. THE PROBLEM IS I AM IN NEW YORK AND I AM PLANNING TO STAY HERE TILL MY PR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE. MY QUESTION IS HOW DO I SEND THE PASSPORT TO NDVO? ANYONE IN SIMILAR SITUATION OR HAD BEEN IN SUCH SITUATION PLEASE HELP AND SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES. IT WILL REALLY HELP ME A LOT. I AM SO SO STRESSED OUT. THANK YOU

well u can request for a 2nd PPR via email -- which they ll resend you at the end of the process -- nite ut may delay ur process a bit (not much) i guess as much as u take the time to send you passport after 2nd PPR or a Lil longer than that. But will solve your purpose. Good Luck.
