Still " In -Process" . Since the time I saw my status change from Application Received to In-Process , I have suddenly become so active in checking my status. Out of sheer curiosity I check it almost 5 to 10 times daily...... And since the strike is over now, waiting for the " In - Process " to change quickly to Decision Made.

Lets see when that happens....... :) :) :) :)

For sure Tushar Bhutani. I will post updates as soon as my present E-Cas status changes to Decision Made.

Yes everyone should get their visas now, since the strike is over .

Hi everyone!! I am a january applicant and my file was transferred to the new Delhi office on the 28th of February. Since then we did not here anything from the visa office until 7August , when i received a phone call from the Delhi High Commission asking for my passport. The lady over the phone also said that they had emailed me in march asking for passport. But i've been checking my mail (both inbox and spam) everyday since january and i did not receive any such email. Anyways, the problem here is that she just asked me to send my passport,so i only sent my new valid passport and as i did not know so i did not send my old ie. my expired passport. So will that be a problem? Should i send it now.

Also, i've been reading this forum since last month as a guest and i feel you guys are doing a great job.. Both by helping people with queries and also keeping everyone motivated and positive!!!

You already sent recent passport so now you can email them about your old passport and i guess they will respond with appropriate information.

Look at my timeline, its very similar to mine. Likewise i didn't receive my passport request in march. But I received a call from NDVO on Aug 6. I check my mail 10 times daily, i will not miss it. I think NDVO made a mistake in their mailing system. I applied for GCMS notes and found out that they have fail to notify me to send the passport. I'm still waiting. No news yet!!!

Trust me its the same here..

I am yet to sort my wedding pictures to get the wedding album done.. But its so tough to stop opening and refreshing the window to check if there is any further progress :D

Good luck to all of us.. So excited to see the changes in the status for not just me but everyone else in the wait game :)

Hey myrah. No i do not have any travel history in them.

Hi,

I've applied for the Canada PR (spouse-sponsored) in June - the CIC received the application on July 19, 2013. I have received a confirmation correspondence from New Delhi Immigration office on September 18, 2013. I was asked to submit (1) landing fee (2) police clearance certificate and (3) passport.

The following is the note from the document:
* Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.

In my application, I had submitted a Police Clearance certificate dated 16-Mar-2013.

Should I be getting a new certificate now that the submitted one is considerably outdated (I understand CIC considers anything older than 3 months as invalid document)?

Please advise.

Also, would like to know how long it would generally take for CIC to return my passport with visa (or ask me for an interview)?

Thanks,
Pradeep
