whining and crying helps people dealing with frustration and it is ok..better than being physically/verbally abusive to others due to frustration

Really ?
Publicly no..... I have not been abusive as you are mentioning here.

Logic says follow the time line given...which is 11 months once the file reaches NDVO.
But anyways to each his own, I just expressed my personal opinion.

There is no need to unleash wrath unnecessarily.

And I mentioned " these days". I joined the forum way ahead of you. People did not used to cry so much as some do now.

Anyways I dont think I will post any more here. There are people like you who out of no reason take things personally.

Hi everyone,
There is a page on facebook "end the strike, pafso"
Plz follow this page. As pafso is on facebook, so they might be able to hear part of our problem this way.
You guys should post your story of how this strike effected you, on the same page.
It will help us one way or the other.
Good luck everybdy..

I don't necessarily think that one of these things on their own is a red flag. But in combination they could be a problem. . A few possible red flags could be: (PLEASE NOTE U NEED TO SUBMIT A LOT AND LOT OF PROOF THAT CONVINCES THE OFFICER YOUR MARRIAGE IS GENUNINE)

- different religions
- different cultural backgrounds
- different educational backgrounds
- different professional backrounds
- if applicant applied in some other category and rejected several times (Any refused visa to a Western country is a red flag. One is not a big deal. The more refused visas you have, the worse it looks.)
- no formal wedding/reception
- family not at wedding
- friends not at wedding
- no/few trips together
- no/few trips to see each other
- very short period between first meeting (i.e. first getting to know each other) and marriage
- quick proposal after first meeting, followed by quick marriage
- haven't met each other's parents
- haven't met each other's friends
- age difference
- previous marriage they really need divorce, separation or annulment papers if not a big RED flag
- very different financial situations

I'm sure there are more many more !!!!

hey buddy chillax!!
not everyone is same - so all cant b strong enuff to plus before june ir so thr wsnt any thing known as STRIKE -- if "these days" ppl are crying n all its all bcoz of this stupid strike -- noone is sure abiut anything its all based on luck. Everyone here is aware of so called 11 months - which was actly 10months tge day i applied and they changed it to 11 now. Yeah i kniw we cant help it. But can atleast try to understand each others feelings and emotions -- everyone is life is diff - we dunno what they might b going thru. And maybe thr might not b anyone around them with whom, they can share it. So over here they juz say whateva they feel. And i see nothing at all wrong in it. Since we all are going thru the same(more or less) so we can understand better.

no,hard feelings with ya but yeah spread happiness and positivity :) make others laugh -- its key to a happy life. Good luck dearie !! :)

RD :)

i would suggest go for mp enquiry asap -- as mayne they might b waiting for some document from,ur side i guess u missed ppr too right? Abd asked for it in aug - correct me if i am wrong. So that can b one of thw reasons too now they might b doing some checks or maybe after asking for pp they assigned another date which is yet to come. It can b anything. Dont worry think positive. Goid luck :)

Is anyone help me about my below mentioned querry:

My full name is Given Name i.e. No surname in CIC records. So what should I mention under Surname Box while checking online status of my application?

As it is required to fill all boxes of input for checking online status, so due to this I am unable to check my application status.

Please suggest me. Thanks!
