Is anyone help me about my below mentioned querry:

My full name is Given Name i.e. No surname in CIC records. So what should I mention under Surname Box while checking online status of my application?

As it is required to fill all boxes of input for checking online status, so due to this I am unable to check my application status.

Please suggest me. Thanks!

BTW, wht had u written in application form under surname?

I don't necessarily think that one of these things on their own is a red flag. But in combination they could be a problem. . A few possible red flags could be: (PLEASE NOTE U NEED TO SUBMIT A LOT AND LOT OF PROOF THAT CONVINCES THE OFFICER YOUR MARRIAGE IS GENUNINE)

- different religions
- different cultural backgrounds
- different educational backgrounds
- different professional backrounds
- if applicant applied in some other category and rejected several times (Any refused visa to a Western country is a red flag. One is not a big deal.The more refused visas you have, the worse it looks.)
- no formal wedding/reception
- family not at wedding
- friends not at wedding
- no/few trips together
- no/few trips to see each other
- very short period between first meeting (i.e. first getting to know each other) and marriage
- quick proposal after first meeting, followed by quick marriage
- haven't met each other's parents
- haven't met each other's friends
- age difference
- previous marriage they really need divorce, separation or annulment papers if not a big RED flag
- very different financial situations

I'm sure there are more many more !!!!

Enter your full given name I also don't use surname

I should be red-flagged a couple of times here, it was a quick meeting and marriage 5 days later and no trips taken and no time spent together haha.

I should start preparing myself for interview then

We just got the first email and after that we received no information on our file. very much worried as to what is going on. Did not received passport request till date. My hubby already did mp inquiry and we just got to know that Our file is being reviewed and applied for notes too(beginning of this month) but they just asked for a signed consent form and no response after that. What is going on............ this is just soo annoying We got to know that his friends who applied long after we did have received the passport request. And in our case even the ecas just says application received and nothing more then this.

Your case is exactly like mine....I even just applied for notes....and waiting for that

Seems like your file was stuck somewhere unfortunately. Sign your consent form and ask your husband to mail it in.
And wait till your notes comes back so you can check where the file really is for yourself (in what stage)

There is someone on this forum who applied in August 2012 and they haven't got anything back after a Passport request. Things are delayed and slowed down due to strike as you have heard already. Have some patience and just wait for the notes, once again.

Ya pls share updates, sply the ppl whose files are 'In Process'

I am a April 2013 applicant, and my e-cas status changed to 'In Process' on 20 September 2013

Already did sign the form and forwarded them the next day itself... How come ppl who applied after us got the passport request,ecas status changed and wht not... Happy for all of them but its soo annoying not to get any reply on our status. How long this suffering has to be.. lyk when is there gonna be an end to all this... Its just so heart breaking...!!
They dont even have the curtsy to reply to mail so that it keeps a person updated on his/her file..

Hey dont be sad or disappointed u will get evrything done soon and never loose hopes and be positive and smile everything will be good very soon.

Looks like you have missed the PPR email from NDVO..try the GCMS notes or MP inquiry to find out ...Gud luck

yeah go gcms notes or do mp enquiry looks like u missed the ppr or check ur spam folder of the email id that you gave for all the immigration updates.

We check our mails on daily basics even the spam folder too but got nothing from there side.
As far as MP enquiry is considered my hubby already did that and we just got to know that file was reviewed in April.. Applied for nites too..!!

Don't worry ..notes will at least tell u about ur passport request.
