hi guys

i have applied for my spousal visa for my wife in march 2013. when i login into cic website to check my application status it shows me as application has been received on march 2013 thats it..... but friend of mine who had also applied for her wife and his application status shows as application received and medical results have been received but mine doesnt show any thing about medical results..... is this normal?????

Yes Taran this is normal...m also march applicant and my e-cas also shows the d same as urs...some applicant got directly Apps revcd to Decision made..

Re-entry into India within 2 months on a Tourist Visa.

All nationals of Afghanistan, China, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, Maldives, foreigners of Pakistani and stateless persons require a minimum 2 month gap between two (2) visits to India on a Tourist Visa.

I think it only matters if you are from the above countries. I hope this helps.

I got my GCMS not on august 24th and info was pulled on aug 10th. Info was "NO MOC CONCERNS " form Missisauga side, nothing regarding interview.Now I want to go to India in end of october but scared if they ask for interview in dec or january then I can't travel as need 2 months gap between each trip as a canadian citizen. What to do???? so confused , reapply for GCMS notes or it is too early as I got GCMS last month . Pleaseeeeeee advise me. thanks.

Where do you see they asked about 2 month gap or who told you this.. there are no such rule...as long as you have valid visa or OCI you can travel without any restrictions.(6 months if u have visitor visa)

But i did the medical only after i got the pp request letter and also the doc said that they gonna send the reports to ndvo directly and keep this receipt for your proof as a record that u did the test and plus in the document checklist there is no mention of this imm 1017 form anywhere.....or is it?

If like us to help you can please provide us with the the staus of your medical showing up in the ECAS or GCMS notes....?

does it say Received or not..?

Friends,

For all who are still planning to apply, always make sure that you get this IMM1017B from your panel physician. This is the document that you need to send along with your application as a proof that your medicals are done. There is bar-code on this form.

You get IMM 1017 at the end of your medical exam session, from your DMP. Your DMP retains another copy, which he/she then will send to the NDVO

When you send your application to CPC-Mississauga, you will need to include the IMM 1017 slip that you should have obtained from the DMP's office. Then when CPC-Mississauga has approved THE sponsor , they will transfer the whole paperwork to the New Delhi visa office, and the people at the ndvo will match the medical results that they should've got from the DMP, with the IMM 1017 that you sent them .

so basically they haven't touched your file except that your pp has been recd by ndvo....wow
