When i did my medicals they just gave a e-receipt with my passport size photo in it. They said all the reports and forms will be sent to embassy directly they are not supposed to give anything else. they asked me to attach that e-receipt with the applications. later when i searched in the net. it said that the panel physician will send the imm1017e and imm1017b directly to embassy.

But i don't know wat to do now..

they have touched my file after my SA in april.

They suppose to give you one which you hv to attach with the file. But i do not think there should be any issue because they have your results anyway.

Pls confirm if ecas or GCMS says they have recived your medicals ?

Hi thagasin,

This is your medical report that the panel physician needs to fill at the time of your medicals.
h t t p://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-02.asp

You need to send this original along with your application. Have you sent original IMM1017 along with your application ?

Regards,
James

You get IMM 1017 at the end of your medical exam session, from your DMP. Your DMP retains another copy, which he/she then will send to the NDVO

When you send your application to CPC-Mississauga, you will need to include the IMM 1017 slip that you should have obtained from the DMP's office. Then when CPC-Mississauga has approved THE sponsor , they will transfer the whole paperwork to the New Delhi visa office, and the people at the ndvo will match the medical results that they should've got from the DMP, with the IMM 1017 that you sent them .

But i did the medical only after i got the pp request letter and also the doc said that they gonna send the reports to ndvo directly and keep this receipt for your proof as a record that u did the test and plus in the document checklist there is no mention of this imm 1017 form anywhere.....or is it?

thanks for reply ,I got 6 months visa with multiple entries valid upto 20th of january but I dont have OCI, Yes I need 2months gap... my friends told me. thanks

I thought Indian government got rid of that rule (two months gap going in and out of India) for people on visitor's visa..I maybe wrong...lot of times they don't enforce that rule but you don't want to take that chance

Oh God -- sooooo confused
