Got GCMS exactly after 30 days, only Due Date changed to Sept 13

If the due date is sep 13, hopefully they might take some action on that part before that which is in 10 more days. :-)

Hi Sania,

Belated Happy B'day...!!! :)
I wasn't around over the weekend and now I was going through all these posts and saw that it was your B'day.
I wish you all the very best and may God fulfill all your dreams very soon and make you the happiest person.

I saw that you mentioned that your husband did a MP inquiry and you got to know that there was an IV that needs to be scheduled in your case.
Don't worry dear. It must be for some thing that is unclear from your application and now the VO wants to clear his doubt. Nothing to worry. As long as your relationship is genuine, nothing can stop you to to be with your husband.

It could be this age difference that might have raised a flag and now they need to clear this. In this case GCMS notes would be perfect to know why this IV is required. If you don't have time to order GCMS notes, I would suggest you to go through all the fine details of your file and see if there are any other concerns that may have triggered a flag. You will have to prepare for everything because most likely it will be you who is going to be interviewed.

Nobody knows how their files are being processed. Just my way of thinking is your file represents you. You are putting all information together and giving it to someone else to make a judgement/decision on this. Try to put yourself in VO shoes and think what kind of questions/concerns that may arise after you look at that file. Try to explain all those things in advance so that when VO reviews it, he has no questions.

But this is just me. Everybody has his own thinking. I would suggest you to read your file and see what have u written.

Also you haven't received any official IV request from NDVO. This just came from your MP. I would wait to receive some official confirmation from NDVO and in the mean time order GCMS notes ASAP.

Regards,
James

I completely agree with James about the GCMS notes.
I think I remember from someone in the forum that their gcms notes mentioned that it was suggested to have them for an interview to check the couple's compatibility, as they didn't have enough proofs to demonstrate that their marriage is genuine (something like that).
It's very important in your next step, you might get some critical info.

I think it is Medical report form.

Hi thagasin,

This is your medical report that the panel physician needs to fill at the time of your medicals.
h t t p://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-02.asp

You need to send this original along with your application. Have you sent original IMM1017 along with your application ?

James

Where do you see they asked about 2 month gap or who told you this.. there are no such rule...as long as you have valid visa or OCI you can travel without any restrictions.(6 months if u have visitor visa)

When i did my medicals they just gave a e-receipt with my passport size photo in it. They said all the reports and forms will be sent to embassy directly they are not supposed to give anything else. they asked me to attach that e-receipt with the applications. later when i searched in the net. it said that the panel physician will send the imm1017e and imm1017b directly to embassy.

But i don't know wat to do now..

they have touched my file after my SA in april.
