Passport request by NDVO: 9 March 2013
Decision Made: August 22 2013

Your timeline is almost same as mine...I am glad that they have finally started processing jan applications as well...Hang in there guys we all are gonna get good news soon. Good luck and God bless !!!

I don't know if anyone is on twitter..But someone got a DM for spousal case from New Delhi on Aug 20 (@ShelleyKasunich).
I believe she had applied in February......So hang in there guys!! You'll all be in Canada in Sept!!!

My husband just got decision made on his application

The e-cas status shows the following -

We received your application for permanent residence on February 1, 2013.

We started processing your application on August 19, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


I checked the status on August 19 too...but at that point it just said Application received and Medical results have been received.

I can't explain how happy I am. Have faith guys...everyone is eventually going to get DM!!!!
I know the wait is killing you...But be positive and hang in there for just a little bit longer..

Anywayz, I never applied for GCSM notes or did a MP enquiry. I am a Sikh and my husband is Hindu..So It is inter-caste
but there was no interview. So I don't think that having an inter-caste marriage is a red flag for the VOs.
Also, we did attach photos and phone bills..but not a lot of them..But we were in a relationship of 8 years before we got married..
it was long distance though since I was in Canada studying..and he was in India..I am so glad the wait is finally over for us

yours and my situations in all most same my wife is also a sikh girl and i am a hindu boy so i just want to know from u that did u Register your Marriage Under Hindu Marriage Act OR Inter caste Marriage Act
