PAFSO, is it true that the Parliament can legislate you back to work in September? if so, are you working on a strategy to avoid this and solve this issue before that happens?

Reply from PAFOS

PAFSO - APASE Canadian law does give this power to Parliament. We are working on various options for persuading the employer of the need to resolve this situation ASAP. However, we cannot discuss details of our strategy on a public website.

I highly doubt the Govt. or PAFSO is in a rush to resolve this.

Reading Tony Clement's tweets/statements and PAFSOs replies...looks like this might go on for few more days maybe weeks (god forbid)...unless the govt. decides to get involved. They look extremely rigid right now.

I think Tony Clement is probably gonna wait till September and have the govt. force PAFSO back to work.

Again..this is just a personal opinion...and i hope im wrong.

I guess you are right... both the parties look extremely rigid on their stand...
daily I look metro newspaper for some news article on this strike but till now I have not seen even a single line mentioned in this newspaper about the strike... atleast after yesterdays protest before PM's office, I thought they will cover this.. but nothing in todays paper too...
