Want to share some GOOD NEWS guys !!!!
My wife finally got her passport with the visa stamped on it today.

We got our ecas status changed to decision made on 4 May, 2013. On 25 July, 2013 she received a call from an officer from CHC and he said that they sent her passport with visa back to her home address immediately after 4 May but for some reason it did not reach the house which it was supposed to and got returned back to the CHC. Anyways, my wife then asked him that if she can pick up her passport now and her said yes. He told her that she can come and pick it up on 29 July. She went there today and picked up the passport and other important documents like landing papers, etc.. and now she is coming to Toronto tomorrow i.e. on 30 July.

So happy right now !!! At the same time wishing all of you good luck. I hope that they end the strike asap and all get to be with their loved ones soon.

The news on strike, particularly the Delhi office is that they are not entertaining any applicants who are going there to inquire about the student visa or immigration...My wife had an appointment that's why she was allowed to go inside the embassy.
