It is very shameful that there has been no settlement on this issue..its been 2 full months and no one realizes the urgency to making this matter settled. Both Immigration officers and Harper is been unreasonable.

Hi Guys,

I was waiting for response from NDVO. after July 7th, they are they are displaying two addresses of mine - residential and mailing (same address under two heading). Did anyone faced same situation before ?

I am in Canada and i sponsored my wife.
Application sent : 2 feb (13)
Forwarded to Delhi : 21 Feb
PPR - 9 MAR
PP Sent - 14 mar
PP received : 15 mar (as per courier track, no response from NDVO)

Waiting for my wife ... tired and sick .. for 4 months passport holding

Well usually if they is a PPR it seems the interview is waived and I got a request for my passport and re medicals in Feb if they had to interview me they would ve called me instead but i guess in ur case is different. I don knw anythin anymore.. Just trusting in God and praying

Unfortunately this is not true. I just got our GCMS notes. It says medical passed, background check not started and interview recommanded. My husband had is PPR beginning of March. Now we are getting so tensed about the interview. I heard that if we have interview this is because they already think about rejecting your case and that most of people called in interview are having their visa rejected. Is there anyone in that forum who have knows cases where someone got his visa after interview? Please help!

Hi Anishka,

I don't believe that's true, not sure where you heard that. Visa rejection post interview is rare but again it depends on the specific case. The officers usually ask a bunch of standard questions around the case history, the relationship, where/how long the spouse is employed etc., circumstances surrounding your wedding and then cross-check your answers with what you've filled out in the forms. They may ask follow up questions to assess how genuine the relationship is. They may even hint whether your application will be approved if they are satisfied with the answers. Usually the visa arrives within 1-2 weeks post interview.

I don't think you need to worry, it might just be a standard interview to double-check some answers. If your relationship is genuine, there's nothing to get panicked about. People get visas post interviews all the time.

For reference, I suggest you look at the 2012 New Delhi Applicants file to look for people that received their passports post interview & review their notes.

Hey Anishka don't worry about your interview. we had interview in Jun 2013 they didn't ask us much, just about marriage question. they ask us to submit our medical and PCC again because it was expired. we sent them everything 3 weeks ago.
