Hey I got my passport back with shining visa....very happy...don't know what should I feel....my mom broken into tears...i am confused should i smile or ...... ;D ;D finally wait ends.Thanks to all for being a part of my life....really miss you guys....

yes nrn1... I guess apply for GCMS ASAP... it will take around 1 month to receive your GCMS notes after you apply for it... and there is no harm in applying for GCMS notes...

There is no use of email as most of the times ecas status changes directly to Decision Made. We can not do anything accept waiting.

Why dont you e-mail to NDVO to know about you case status????/

I sent it jan, 2013. but we both sent out passports to NDVO in march 2013.. and waiting for our passports back..
it's been almost 4 months since we sent our passport. Is it that true that they will return our passports within 4 months (120days) from the time they take it from us????

Why dont you e-mail to NDVO to know about you case status????/

Visa issue date is 24-06-2013

I applied for my husband on 14th Feb. and sent passport on 14th April..so almost 75 days gone till now...hope will get end of July.

My file was transferred to NDVO on April 9 but no PPR yet, should i go for GCMS or its too early for applying GCMS. Any suggestions ?

Yes right as each case is different so they process in different way. There is also delay because of strike and we can only get an idea from status of other members over here.

yea..You are right, they are unpredictable, but this is the time line. I dont know what they do with passports if we are in need of passport to visit..even then we can not move. : : :

Hi Raman GCMS stands for Global Case Management System and only Canadian Citizens and PR holders can apply for this during processing of case. These notes provides detail about current status of application.
