Are you a march 2012 applicant?
Why did it take you so long to get passport request?
Are there red flags in your case? like 2nd marriage..inter caste/religion marriage etc?

On your right top TABS you will find the PROFILE tab
after clicking on that go to Modify profile tab on left side...

My husband applied in March 2012 n my file was transferred to Delhi on June 26th 2012 after that I got my passport request only in Feb 14th and now m waitin for my passport..
Mine is a very straightforward case First Marriage and I have known my husband for 10 yrs nw our was a love marriage and v had the civil marriage as well as church weddin.. I don knw whats taking them so long.. Both of us r frustrated.. V applied for the GCMS notes waiting for thier response..

Hope I am not asking too much of personal qs...just trying to find the reason for delay.
Did both side parents attend and agree with the marriage?
Try applying for GCMS notes you might find answers...

Oh I got it figured now Updated.. Yes both the sides attended the wedding infact his whole family came down for the weddin.. I applied for the GCMS notes just waiting for thier response m so frustrated mine is the longest wait of 15 months

Ok...thats great only thing is your Visa Office is NEW DELHI and not missisauga...
Well dont know why they are delaying your case...but hope you get your visa soon

That's good to hear.. but then there is a voice that's asking 'what if I am not included in that 80% of people?? And what if my case gets delayed to more than 6 months?????"

Oh I forgot to tell you guys that in the email, they have mentioned that "We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing time is calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga."

Normal process is 10 months. My advice go see your MP and tell him about your case. Ask him to request your process. It is much faster and you will get answer within 1 week.

Well then you can asked them again, just don't give up.

Once you make 2 or 3 visits and bug them they will push more and more. Let them see how painful you are, in other words at least do a fake crying with tears.


Thank you for motivating me on the upcoming time. I am just waiting in the line GOD knows when will these lazy guys will issue visa's to us. Life is not the same without love ones living far from us. My whole long week end is so boring and painful, I cannot sleep or eat anything and also it feels like I am in a jail.
