Processing time is calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga

So it should be from feb 16th

Yup...also last year Jan-Feb 2012 applicants got approvals in July-August ...so hoping to hear some good news soon

Hey I got my passport back with shining visa....very happy...don't know what should I feel....my mom broken into tears...i am confused should i smile or ...... ;D ;D finally wait ends.Thanks to all for being a part of my life....really miss you guys....

Visa issue date is 24-06-2013

Hi Raman GCMS stands for Global Case Management System and only Canadian Citizens and PR holders can apply for this during processing of case. These notes provides detail about current status of application.

I dont think so Jason Kenny can speed up the process because NDVO runs as per thier time schedule and nobody can interrupt even MP too. Wait frnds and have patience :'( :'( :'(

as far as i know, i dont think they return back the documents but i think you can request for them to be handed back to u.

They do return the fotos. Two of my relatives got their photos back when they sponsored their husbands..

They just need a birth certificate, if you do not have one the school certificate showing the birthdate or a voter's ID or a similar document helps. In my wife's case we just submitted the Matriculation certificate showing the date of birth.

It is really on us to have our case clean and straight. The burden of prove is on us. They will go as per their yardstick. If we provide all the necessary documents our case move fast. some days back there was similar question regarding the birth certificate. One of member did share that an embassy want to have Birth certificate though he has submitted class X certificate. this sort of request to prolong our processing time...

On an average, the jan 2012 applicants got their DM in July..
feb applicants got their DM in aug/sep on an average...
