Oh when will we here good news. I am waiting for any update from E-cas. How much more do we have to wait.

when is your medical expiring gupta. My wife is in Aug 7.
yeah magessss... daily I check with a hope that something changes on my eCas,, : (
In early march I sent a case-specific query to update my wife's contact address and finally last friday evening, when I checked eCas status, I could see that they have updated my wife's address... how ever, status still remains same, "Application Received"... : (

Hello,

Need help!! I ordered gcms notes on 23 rd may but haven't received yet.
Does any body know how I could follow up on my request.
I send an email to atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca but it sends back an automated message to apply on online tool.

Thanks
Its a automated reply but they will look into your email. So do not worry and wait for them to respond. If they doesn't respond in a day or 2, email them again.

dont worry dude... looks like they are already working on Jan applications although we do not see any change in eCas status... the proof is last Friday they updated my wife's Indian address which we requested in early March just before we received PPR... just because of this update it raises hope in me that althought the status on eCas is not changing but still they are working on our files...
one day our status will change to "Decision Made"... we just need to wait for that "ONE DAY" and I am sure it is around the corner... and most likely we will see our partners in Canada in next month... :)

Hello,

I want to say Thank you for this forum esp the excel sheet with time frames. I found it very useful.

I'm sponsoring my husband and his file is being processed at the New Delhi location:

Application Filed: 06-March-2013
Acknowledgement Of Receipt Received.: 16-March-2013 :)
Sponsorship approved & File Transferred to New Delhi: 04-April-2013
Medicals & police clearance: was already done and submitted with original application
Passport Requested: 28-May-2013 :)
Passport Received by CIC: 07-June-2013
Visa Issued:

I had not paid the RPRF of $490.00 at the time of my application but I had paid it on 30-April-2013.
Till date they have not received and recently learned that it wasn't cleared by National Bank of Canada since 30-April-2013. I have confirmation thru my bank that the immigration office are aware that the fees were paid and are tracing the payment.

I hope that they clear the funds and process my husbands visa asap.

Another possible reason for delay is **Notice – Strike Action** :(

June 11, 2013 — The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

Hope this helps.

And yes if anybody's status changes and if you get your visa stamped. Please kindly update the forum with the date.

Regards
Samantha.

Hi gupta

I needed a suggestion....my husband (sponsor) is shifting to vancouver, so is there any need to update his address?
I have got ppr on 24th may and passport was recieved by NDVO on 28th may 2013.

Thanks

I guess, drop NDVO a mail asking them to update your husbands address.. but even if they are not updating, it should not be a problem.. because all the communication will be sent to you and nothing will be sent to your husband after file is transferred to India...
