Gulzar is missing since two weeks. I wish everything will be alrite with him. He has done a lot for us. I think we should wait for him to update the sheet. He will definitely join us soon.

It's a request to all the forum members to wait for him for another 3-4 days. If he will not respond then whatever everyone wants to do, go ahead.

its upto us how to tackle it... Its really tough as most of the people in this forim is facing that hardship but evn if we are sad we will have to live in this situation until visa arrives thn y not to accept it and evn enjoy the pain we have got?!! If u wil stay sad ur husband wont be happy but if u will be happily accepting this situation for time being thn ur husband who is alone there wud get cheered up... N i guess this process is nothin as once u land u wil have to see n decide on where n how n which work u want to do...the process of PR card sin number everything... Evn the Gtest for driving start preparing for all this rather feeling sad n lonely... Dint mean to lecture or bore u...

Finally got Passport back stamped with Visa !

Forum members, thanks for all the support. Big shout out to mannatdel, julyashar, LunarNymph, Buds, YogMys, prasamp, aakriti, mickeyindia, and James.007 - all the best for your future and hope you get good news for those who are waiting.

@ GulzarND: we are missing your cheerful spririt here, please update my notes with Passport Receive Date.
Also, update Address Change Date to 16-Apr-2013
It seem our VISA was stamped on 11-Apr and it took them 3 days for DM, another 2 for Address Change and 9 days in all for returning passport. Anyways, no complaints now - we are happy!!

I agree with this...

Would be nice if we can wait for some more time. Definitely Gulzar will be back. He might be busy with some family things but I know he is a very active member.

I checked the spreadsheet. It looks like hm82, LunarNymph, Gulzar and mannatdel are very close in terms of their application. I am hoping that now you should be getting some happy news news form CIC any moment

I have a feeling that Gulzar has already received his VISA and is now in India
