I checked the spreadsheet. It looks like hm82, LunarNymph, Gulzar and mannatdel are very close in terms of their application. I am hoping that now you should be getting some happy news news form CIC any moment

I have a feeling that Gulzar has already received his VISA and is now in India

Even sometimes,I do have the same feeling but if his application is approved. He might update here. I think he is struck in some family problem.

You know what James, I used to check the ECAS after every 5 minutes in a day. My hubby is also fed up with me lolz.

Still not any update

I wish next week we all will have lots of updates ..till then keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.

It seem our VISA was stamped on 11-Apr and it took them 3 days for DM, another 2 for Address Change and 9 days in all for returning passport. Anyways, no complaints now - we are happy!!

No update on E-cas as yet on my end. Keeping my fingers crossed to hear some good news by the end of this month, if not earlier!
hm82's good news is really uplifting for the rest of the forum members!

First of all I would like to congratulate hm82...wish u a bright future in Canada

My case was transferred to New Delhi on 12 April.....how long will it take for ppr....just to let u know that I was in UK for 7 years before coming back to India.....I have also been to Canada as temp. Resident for couple of weeks in 2006....will they do background check on these visits before asking for my passport......thanks

Thanks aman ! Have a look at the ND-2013 spreadsheet to get a sense of Avg. PPR time ! I assume you are the Principal applicant .. Ifso, I doubt they will do a background check for visits of few weeks to Canada .. shouldn't be a hurdle to process applications. Of course, you must have provided police clearance for UK, right?

How was your passport sent back to you??? Was any intimation given by the NDVO to you prior to your receipt of your passport..
Just curious as my timeline looks more like yours...

I think there will be no problem as my maasi is also in India from the last three months and my uncle's application has been approved last month.She is also PR in Canada.

My husband has consult the lawyer and he also says that there will be no problem.
