is this compulsion to stay at the address u have given in application til u get ur visas??? i m staying with my parents in my birth city as my mom is not well trying to help her and my address in the application is of my husband's city... what to do??? usually all say after ppr u should stay at the address you have given in application... Can someone help me on this???

It's not compulsion dear.I was also living with my parents till PPR. My husband is in India these days and I am at my in-laws place for some days. My parents will receive my passport showing their identity if they receive in my absence.

Even i have read some posts where the applicant's parents receive the PP.

Good Luck!

The address in your app is the official correspondence address, so someone's know to you gotta be there ! Also eventually your Passport will be returned to the same address and it may even be used for background verification, which is usually done by private agencies on behalf of NDVO.
I suggest you choose an address where you are available or at least be easily verifiable; change the address through case specific inquiry if necessary.

I second @mannatdel

I have received :o :o :o :o :o the request for passport...on date 18-4-13 please update my list...............Thank you

My wife has received passport request today Apr-18.

One question.
We had submitted only 12 picts all together for marriage ,reception and honeymoon at the time of initial application. Also we didnt write anything behind the picture at the time of initial application.
After reading forums , I realized its better to send more picts as it may add values to the file.

Is it a good idea to add more pictures when sending the passport via courier to NDVO?
Should i say in the cover letter any reason for adding more picts?

Appreciate your response.
