Isur case straight forward ? Or are their any complications

dear I think its only luck rt now...ppl who are frauds get their visa so early and ppl who are genuine have to wait for months maybe yrs sad !! I think its just luck with how well u prepare your file with a lot of proof

it is nutty weather here...it was bright sunny day two days ago and the warm sun was hitting my face in my living room..so I thought it would be ok to go out without jacket..the minute I came out of high rise building, I had to go back back to my apartment to get my jacket..now I carry jacket, sweat shirt, and tshirt you will never know which one will come in handy..and soon it will be winter jacket to add and I will look like a homeless person with all these baggage carrying around

well its not bad in vancouver. it was quite rainny last night. but its kind of chilly with 19 degrees. and yes weather in canada is un predictable. remeber 3Ws.

It just sucks and really sounds depressing that our files will actually take a whole of 10 - 11 months to process...

People just 1-2 years ago would sponsor their wife/hubby in 6 months guaranteed (for most cases)

that is true and that is wt it takes in most cases now too.but the strike is impacting it. coz mine was done in around that time;

I agree luck is involved in getting visa but as u said it also depends upon how u prepare ur file and how much proofs u have submitted.

Yes...it is unpredictable... i think whoever is completing their background and criminal check fast..they are getting the visa.

well the only real complication is that its her second marriage, she gotta call from NDVO a month ago asking her a few questions about the application, questions like what's my full name, my birthdate, how did we come across each other, if my brother is married, his name, about her previous marriage, how long i been in canada .. that was it, then my wife asked the interviewer when can i expect my visa, the lady said it should be granted before your medical expires which is February 2014.

that's good news coz u guys wont have an interview now..........the only cause of your file getting delayed this damn lame unwanted useless senseless strike !!

Your absolutely right!!!. Majority of the time delay is depend on the Background and Criminality check.

This again proves that Ecas is not reliable without processing ur file they wouldn't have called ur wife.hopefully they were satisfied with the answers ur wife gave and ur interview is waived.
