No updates from your side....quite strange as you always hit the thread with some updates about strike.....

Hello all,

I am also from the clan of silent observers. Thank you all for the much-needed support system ie the 'New Delhi- 2013 applicants' thread. It has been great to be a part of it (silent nevertheless). My husband and I got married in December 2012 and filed our application on March 25, 2013.

A teeny news to share (don't know if this is anything to be chirpy about!).

Today our ecas shows 'In-process'. We have been checking ecas regularly so this got updated today.

Timeline is as follows:

App. Filed: 25 March 2013
Medicals: January 2013
SA: 17 April 2013
Passport Req: 15 May 2013
Passport sent: 14 June 2013
Ecas: In process

We have applied for GCMS notes twice. Both are pending response.

Fingers are crossed and we are hoping all of us in this forum get to be with our husbands and wives soon. All this wait will prove to be worth it. [/flash]

I have the exact same timeline. I also applied on 25th march, SA - 17th April, PPR 9th May and i also applied for notes twice. Lets hope i get the good news too

Think about it....its been 5 months since the strike started..if the Govt. or Tony Clement or Tim Edward was really serious about resolving this...you think they would have waited 5 months ?? and still going on ? ...i doubt.


Just keep ur fingers crossed..hope n pray for ur DMs..thats it.

I am waiting for my GCMS notes this week...even they take fkn 30 days!

Think about it....its been 5 months since the strike started..if the Govt. or Tony Clement or Tim Edward was really serious about resolving this...you think they would have waited 5 months ?? and still going on ? ...i doubt.

exactly true there is no need on looking for strike thing as it just makes you feel more discouraged. just hope things get better and you all come abroad. good luck
