Apparently..yesterday's PAFSO hearing got over in like 3 hours instead of days and weeks...so im assuming thats a good thing. i guess the case is not that complicated...i just hope the verdict is out soon..but i read on twitter it might take a week! ( could be before ).

OK, thanks for the reply. I applied for GCMS notes on July12th and got them on Aug 13th. I came to know interview is wavered and relationship looks to be genuine. When I check the status I only see App received since more than 5 months now. Well all I can do now is wait and wait !!!!!!

That is great news. Which is why ordering GCMS is worth it. It helps to ease your mind. Hope you get visa soon!

Hey everyone who are getting there passport request and DM's

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!


I was thinking why the JAN, FEB applicant's are not getting any DM's lately. I think there is a possibility that some officer's who are looking at our cases went for the strike and they have left our passport's in the draw or some where that nobody can get. So that means when they go for the strike they just left our stuff locked in and now we have to wait for them to return.

Also, for the one's who have applied recently and are getting the DM's and PPR the reason is that the file is visible and can be dealt with easily. So stay positive and hope the strike is over soon then we can see pile's of DM's

My husband just got decision made on his application

The e-cas status shows the following -

We received your application for permanent residence on February 1, 2013.

We started processing your application on August 19, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


I checked the status on August 19 too...but at that point it just said Application received and Medical results have been received.

I can't explain how happy I am. Have faith guys...everyone is eventually going to get DM!!!!
I know the wait is killing you...But be positive and hang in there for just a little bit longer..

Anywayz, I never applied for GCSM notes or did a MP enquiry. I am a Sikh and my husband is Hindu..So It is inter-caste
but there was no interview. So I don't think that having an inter-caste marriage is a red flag for the VOs.
Also, we did attach photos and phone bills..but not a lot of them..But we were in a relationship of 8 years before we got married..
it was long distance though since I was in Canada studying..and he was in India..I am so glad the wait is finally over for us

Thank you Myrah. Yes we are waiting and waiting for the visa. I am also confident that we are going to go in September for sure.
