no it doesn't mean that they send the passport in Canada. ..
in my ecas its my lawyers address shows who is in Canada so it doesn't mean that they Send my passport to him...check ur application which address shows there they Send the passport on that address from applicants side....so relax dats y they call to some people to confirm the DOB or address. ...so relax didn't do anything. ..everything gonna b alright soon

rk on my application status it shows my husbands address. Like whn i enter my uci nb and check status it shows mailing address of canada on both sponser n pr ... I didnt undrstnd check the application u mean application forms we sent to cic.. M i rite?

as per your timeline your medical already expired so after the interview they asked you to do remedical. ..so after dat ur status will b changed in 2 to 3 months. ..dats the maximum time...

visa will b valid according to ur medical date which is for one year valid..
if you know why ur interview is recommended means what are the red flags then prepared dat questions...

If yes, I will plan to get it done the next day (October 8th 2014). Hence, going by this timeline - do you think I will receive my passport with VISA anytime by January 1st week?

i came to forum after long time.

as my interview is coming soon next week so just want to ask anyone who went through an interview that what documents should i carry with me other than our marriage,reception and other vacation photos and communication proofs...??

should i carry my academic credentials/certificates or not...?

plz suggest me any other supportive documents so that i can prepare myself...

Hey guys...anybody from Patiala here?....Do you have any idea how long does it take to receive the passport there after DM...ours was DM on Aug 27...Submitted pp through vfs chandigarh and selected the option to receive it by courier.

I done my remedical on 8th July and hospital said dat they send it online on 14th but I don't know whether they send online or via courier. ..but later on I was find out through MP enquiry that they received it on 23rd near about. ..and my medical is valid till 23rd July 2015...

The X Ray plate has to be send by mail. So they courier. During follow up with the hospital it was not send and next time while checking they gave the tracking number and by that when checked they send it after 12 days. The medical practitioners reports and pathological reports if any are sent digitalised

so howz the preparation going. ..? just after jasmine' s interview I was just think about urs...
so high command also go with you na..?on which day will b ur interview. .is in chandigarh ?

I don't know about documents but for safe side just take every document which is related to you and ur wife...phone bills,, chat logs, recent pics...etc

as per ur timeline you done ur medical in April 2013..right? then its expires after one year on April 2014 so yes they will asked you to remedical. ..but the thing is when they will send you remedical request ay dat time you will done it not before. ..
you didn't done it next day on 8th oct if they didn't send you email about it...

yes maybe you will received it in January depend on the speed of ndvo. ..right now dere speed is so slow. ..

then maybe when they courier it then you received any kind of notification...so just wait for few days maybe this week you will received it otherwise next week sure...

if they sent a medical report in 12 to 15 days uffff then whats the future for us to received visa at dat speed. .. :'(

So hubby did MP enquiry, he called us after two days and said that everything looks green, and its moving. They are working on my police report now and that's the last part and that we will see a change very soon.
I hope what he says happens.. Im so depressed.. It will be 2 months since I did my remeds when will my status change to DM

Guys,
I received notes, got a phone call and status changed to IP yesterday.
The phone call was made to India and my grandmother politely informed I don't live in India. They seemed to be doing a small background check. Already emailed China mobile number three weeks back. Also sent an email asking them about the nature of the call since they didn't specify any. I still have my PP in hand and Meds expire in two weeks.
As far as the notes go, interview waived and comments said they are happy with the relationship proof we sent. They also have several pages of my correspondence with them and respective comments. Not a single email went unnoticed, just not replied to.
Eligibility-IN PROGRESS, Criminality-NOT STARTED, Security- NOT STARTED, Medical-IN PROGRESS,

And then, there are more descriptive passages on the above with updates
ELIGIBILITY
status- reccomend passed
due date - 6/11/2014
CRIMINALITY & SECURITY - Nothing, mostly blank
POLICE CERTS. - No adverse info
Meds: In Progress (?!) also due date - 5/11/2014. My meds should expire two weeks from now, it will pass the 12 month mark. Did they just extend my medical validity as per notes?

it takes atleast 10 months to see any kind of movement (some are lucky and their files move faster) with your file....did you apply for notes? if not, apply for one and see if the delay is due to interview scheduling and to make sure sponsor's email has been entered correctly in NDVO's database...otherwise if you are using a lawyer, ask your lawyer to send a case specific inquiry and if you are not using one then ask your sponsor to send a case specific inquiry...other than that, your sponsor can ask MP about the status of application...those are the only options that you have to find out the status of your application...MP (fastest); case specific inquiry (within two weeks to a month....not sure why they have not responded to your CSE...sometimes they respond only to sponsor's CSE and if you are using a lawyer then only to lawyer); notes (takes about a month) and finally, calling NDVO (most of the times they ask you to send emails but if you are lucky a compassionate human being may give you an answer)...

would you plz tell me what is the deference between Case Specific Inquiry and "Note"? actually I don't know what are they and how can I or my sponser would be able to do it! share the links through which we can apply for CSI or NOTES also if possible.
