Does the sponsor/designated individual to access information need to sign the consent form for GCMS notes? When we applied the firs time My sponsor did not sign the form, and we got the notes in 30 days. Second time we applied, sponsor did not sign and notes are still not here (its 45th day today). Going to apply again. Some one who used the latest version of the consent form please tell me if we need to fill out all the sections on the form...basically if the sponsor has to sign section E and fill up the sponsors information in section B. Thanks

Apply it online and sponsor or pr or citizen for CA has right to apply for it on your behalf. Gone through same topic by some member here and some are saying that they have not received notes for more thn 45 days owing to that volume of gscm request is so high that it is taking more than normal time.. Need to wait through it is not expensive to apply for .

thanks. If there was any problem with the request they would have contacted us right? this is what they say when they send the acknowledgment receipt.

I am new to this forum , I applied to sponsor my husband in sept-oct 2013. Our sponsorship was passed on Oct 2. Our application update still says application received. They asked us for some more documents on June 20, 2014 which we sent immediately
I got an MP inquiry done which basically states that the medicals are valid. checks are ongoing and they have received the extra docs they asked for and they are in que of getting reviewed. nothing else
Should i do a GCMS inquiry ? also if yes how would i get that done? Any ideas on how much longer we are looking at . This wait is so frustrating
I see that some applicants later than us have got their visas already
please do help with any suggestions

Did all pending Nov, Dec guys get PPR yet? Nov is getting IPs, so it should be close for you guys!

Some one worked out by sorting to analyse but did not put it back to normal. Someone please correct the spread sheet. Introduce one column put series number to sort easily when messed up. Thanks

thanks..eventually everyone (even those who have been denied...it might take them longer) will his/her visa..it takes a while but with little patience and determination, forum members will get their visas no matter however NDVO puts them through tough times...

welcome to the forum...the process is frustrating but all it requires is status change from 'application received' to 'in process' this happens all of a sudden...in many cases status is 'application received' for 10 months and then changes all of a sudden to 'in process'...just to rule out if there is an interview scheduled or the delay is due to additional documents submission, order notes and see what it says...links to notes provided below

thank you so much for your encouraging words! I really need them at this point of time. We are going to apply for notes again tomorrow. But I don't understand what went wrong with the earlier one. We applied on 10th June and we haven't received it yet. the first time we applied it was all good and got it in 30 days. The consent form is May 2014 modified right?

we always used - consent form IMM5744 (04-2014) E

in consent form..both applicant and sponsor fill the details and sign it..

in column 1-applicants details
column 6-applicants sign
in column 2 & 3-sponsor's details
column 5-sponsor' s sign..

Congratulation for your visa arrival!!

Pl suggest if the visa which has end date to it which is approximately 40 days, what if we are unable to travel in those 40 days?
Can we extend the visa or how and what is required to make it atleast 60-75 days , is there any way?

On June I received A DR and it said that "You have 30 days to submit these documents at which time a decision will be taken on your file. Failure to comply with this request may result in your case being refused." It's been 30 days still waiting for a good news..
