Hi W2E ,
After 1 week of my status changed to IP today it went back to Application received, and inside it remains the same that we have started processing your application on 11th July 2014. What the hell is this ?They also requested ADR on 11th june and on 11th july ,my application went in process and now after a week back to application received.
It has happened to quite a few September applicants now. Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks..Shall i beleive on ecas as one similar applicant sran0061 went back to AR after IP and after 1.5 months he got a mail for an interview, dont have words what to say about these people.

don't trust ecas (half the time it is unreliable and the other half it is late like city bus..there were cases where it still showed application received while the applicant landed in canada and shivering in cold)..the only way to know if you have an interview is to ask your MP to find out and apply for notes...just because the pattern is similar to others, it does not mean you will get an interview email too...

eight more to go to hit 2000 now started applying glycerine to my eyes to get that emotional effect....

Truely, i dont believe applying for gcms or mp enquiry as what so ever has to happen will happen but they have NO right to give hope by giving your application IP and then withdraw to AR without any valid reason or mail or phone call and in my case they did ask for ADR then even ???

I truly understand your situation. ..I m also in IP if this happens to me its like end of the world. .we all wait for 11 months then a ray of hope but in few days again nothing...seriously these morons just play with our lives..we are married couples not terrorists..

I got DM today! at 9 30 in morning it showed IP and at 11 am , it became DM. This is my full timeline:

App filed- 17 oct
sponsorship approval - 19 nov
pp request - 17 jan
IP- 18 July
DM- 22 july

i sincerely pray and wish everyone to get visas at the earliest.

Thanks for your prompt revert but even if there was an interview scheduled, they shouldn't have asked for ADR. Exactly after 1 month of ADR, they put me to IP and after a week , back to application received but inside ,it is the same that we have started processing your application on 11th of july. What does that mean my friend??
Also i asked my sponsor to check her status, it shows the same (application received) and inside we started processing.....
Do you still have to comment on this?

yah, since I'm from Afghanistan and student here in India so My visa in the passport was expired in jun 19 2014, but to extend my visa, they don't extend it on my passport, but instead they extend my RP (Residential Permit) by which I can stay here, and it acts as my Visa to stay here in India!
Anyway I will do it, but would you plz tell me that should I send my passport as soon as I extend my Visa, or I should wait till the NDVO request my passport again?

yes when you extend your visa then send your passport..bcoz they are totally duffers they never asked you to send your passport...gud luck

even I m in IP and with NDVO's behavior I m not still happy. ..we are so scared that even after my status changed but we didn't tell anyone about it..not my parents not my in-laws,, not even close frds...when everybody asked about my file I said nothing happened...me and my hubby didn't plan anything. .
don't worry dear I wish you received direct passport with visa..not like this torture-IP ,, DM, , then forever waiting for passport. .

New dataset has been published by CIC:

Here is the latest count of number of spousal apps received at NDVO:
June:655
July:542
Aug:468

Sep:390
Oct: 344
Nov: 269
Dec: 330

As you can see, they got slammed in June, Jul and Aug with 450+ apps.

Sep has been considerably lesser with Oct, nov and Dec being even lesser.

I heard from the MP office yesterday that even though they have resumed normal processing times, some of the Pakistan files have gotten transferred to NDVO but that they are still giving priority to India spousal apps first.

Plus, I was told that they have gotten some kind of internal directive that they need to bash out all 2013 apps ASAP in the next 45 days. Hope these are valid intel I received.

Hello Pooja,
I received an ADR on 10th July with a 30 day time window. NDVO received the documents on 14th July. I guess they will not open the file till 10th August so waiting for that patiently...
