i can totally sympathize with your situation..I went through those emotions for 12 months (if i had put those emotions into making money instead of on stupid NDVO's inactions, I would have become a mini Bill Gates) and at times I was wondering if the application was in basement or attic...you will go through stages - hatred towards those words 'application received'; doubting yourself 'it must be my computer it keeps showing application received'; angry with anyone who says those letters 'NDVO' and finally happy to see status change...few unlucky people like you and me have to go through mental anguish because of incompetence of NDVO (I understand that NDVO says time processing is 13 months and is no use in getting upset with no news from NDVO but if lot of forum members get their visas in 10 months then it is upsetting...not at them but at the process...)

u were written all d things which I m thinking abt whole day...seriously I m doubting dat dere is a problem in my computer...ur situation is a hope for me atleast I m not those lucky ones who hv got visa in 8 or 10 months. .but plzz after 13 months my visa will b in my hands...few things I m damn sure but not sure how many time it will take..first thing remedical. .then status changed to IP or DM. ..God knows when these duffers will look at my file...

1. When it shows processing -- does it mean there is an interview or not? or what else does it show for an interview?
2. What is the next stage do they call or send an email? how long does this take?

Please advise asap -- I am so excited YAY

congratss. ...it means there is no interview. ..ur status shows IP. ..just wait for DM then ur passport with shiny visa....then gud bye to ndvo and never deal with them again lol

You did your medicals on 30 July meaning expiry date is in 5 weeks time. So you may go in to fast track mode of getting a call to know whether you can fly within medical expiry This may take in first week of July. Of late they ask for remedical even before 40 days. Wishing you to get your visa faster.

don't worry, things r not going the way u were expecting, but they will very soon...how long u are married? how old is ur child? with a child there are less chances of interview as it is a proof of genuine relation...what I assume is they might contact u near ur medical expiry, for they usually ask for remeds after childbirth...don't worry, they cant leave ur file otherwise they r in trouble...think of ur child's OCI card....tc, dear...

Congratulations to all the Sep applicants who got Ip and in Process, looks like they skipped our files, We are Sep 16th Applicant and still waiting for any updates. Ahh well not surprising

A lot of people have taken only one week, for some even shorter, to go from in process status to DM. I'm not sure why some take longer but it may be depending on the case or competence of the visa officer.

last week my status show in process and
in status menu ndvo tells we started processing on ur appliction on june 11 2014
but today i check my status then its shows again appliction recived
my medical also expired last month

anybody knws about it

I'm facing similar situation as yours... I got IP on 14th june and next it changed to application recd but when i click in app recd it still shows my file is in process .. As per my knowledge our file is in process so don't worry.

Can we call this a new trend as they now change the status on ecas in 3working days and this could happen in the middle of the week?

In my case, we were asked for ADR and the due date on that section indicates 24th June (The review date)And if the above were true, I should expect my ecas status change to in-process by 26th??

Halo Dhara, I also have been advised not to apply notes or do mp inquiry till July . Just wondering when NDVO asks me for submitting passport n I'll be able to think they started working on Nov lot(touch wood).

ECAS updating may be done part time person and depending on the load done daily twice or thrice a week. This forum is a sample size may be 7-8% of the population. Don't give much importance to that. For us that is the only source of information. Updating is erratic
Due date appears to be automatically generated date for sending reminders, or look at the file once again. Many sub groups work the progress collectively shall result in final decision DM. Depending on the medical due date you will see speed in your file progress Your file may be in process but ECAS might not be showing.
Stay strong in a fortnight there would be tremendous progress in your case. Wish you get visa faster.

thanx dear...16 months marriege,, 5 months old baby. ..ndvo is so unpredictable may b there is an interview and msy b not...I m totally don't expect they will call me..so I m prepared for remedical. ..people says dat may b they give preference to Canadian citizen apart from permanent residents. ..but dats not true. ..I m Canadian citizen's wife,, and mother also..my husband and son both are Canadian citizen's...
now dere is no need to OCI card I went to Chandigarh embassy and they gave me full knowledge...we done all d paperwork of my son..he is ready to go now..just now wait for my visa...
