We are Indian people living in India. It's a choice to leave the country and go elsewhere....last I recalled no one has immigrated to Canada with a gun to their head.
I have experienced some racism in Canada but nothing alarming.
I can tell you one thing...discriminating against a religion or race of people in India and then crying wolf when you get discriminated against yourself in Canada won't get you my support. Cry me a river.

There is racism in every part of the world. I can say that with total conviction.
When I say racism, there are several shades to it. Some are ignorant some mischievous and some blatantly belligerent. These are found everywhere from India to rest of the world, albeit the level of intensity may differ depending on the cultural roots one springs out of!

In the case that triggered this debate or the bickering that’s being hurled at on the forum is completely unwarranted. We are here to express support and extend our thoughts to the ones that face mistreatment, sometimes very harsh and unjust. Let’s keep this forum a healthy place and cheer on members getting “OMG’s” and support the ones given a raw deal.
