in my case they seem to be going by "date transferred to NDVO now, I did an MP inquiry on my file and the MP said even though you applied in august your file was transferred to NDVO in september so you will be processed with the sept applicants. My file has not been touched yet, still awaiting "initial review" my medical will expires in 20 days...dats dere way to treat people's...

Hi friends...need a quick reply plz...wat documents(whether driving license or international driving license) need to carry from India to appear for G2 driving license exam in canada..

hi friends,
1) first you must have to write G1 written test
2) if you have 3 to 5 years 4 wheels driver
license smart card then you eligible for G2 road test which is valid for most of highway and issued for 5 years, you have to apply for G license before 5 years
3) if you do not have any 4 Wheel smart card or less experienced you have to wait 8 months for appearling in G2 road test, without G2 you can not drive car in canada,
4) if you come with driving experience letter from RTO, which is valid for 4 months, you can appear in G test directly after G1, they allow only 1 trial if you fail you should go for G2 test as usual
5 ) in short if you have 3 to 5 year experience smart card you should not have to wait for 8 months after G1 written test, if you want more info go to ministry of transport canada Web site

As per the trend file goes in hand as per their filing date in mssga ...

I am waiting for last 2 and half months after remedicals... Nobody gives any information as to what is going on with my application. Frustration is at its peak and I am searching for ways to calm myself down and be patient because now nothing seems to soothe me anymore...

Hey RK...i think even though ur MP informed its based on date NDVO received ur application...based on this forum everyone is going by the date the submitted application...so as per forum trends u are still august applicant...and im september...if we look at it the other way...ur september and im october..and most of the aug applicants who got IP and DM in last 2 weeks (late aug) ..their files prolly were transferred to NDVO in september too.....so..i think everything is fine....ur case is prolly one of those special cases...like Gagi's ...that they r just going to call u and ask if u can pick up passport...ur e-cas will go from AR - IP - DM in 2 days..! ...so dont lose hope u r going to get it soooon!

You and I are in similar position waiting after remedical/chest x-ray. However I don't understand why you were in process for so long before they requested the remedical?

They requested remedical 2 days after my file went into process.

I don't understand what these people in delhi office do.

hey thanx sweetie. ..but now I think MP is right if I m august applicant then y they said initial review. ..if they hv not touched my file yet...it means I m Sept applicant. ..nd d problem is we gave our agents number. .so first they inform him..
we r human beings so everyday we just hope for d gud news...

Dont worry rksandhu...my husband had also done an MP inquiry in mid May and we got a reply in end-May that the file is waiting for initial review. But then i got IP on 1st June and DM on 7th June...so hopefully you will also definitely get an update soon..take care

Did you try to inquire with MP or through GCMS what else is remaining for you?? Are your background checks done??

MP basically told me that file will be taken out of queue if they inquire...which some have said is true and others have said is false.

I have not requested notes.

Which MP is this? My MP told me that she calls and verifies with an Indian officer in NDVO.

I am not sure what is happening internally... and I cannot comment on it.

Although I have inquired via MP and ordered notes 3-4 times within this past year and since I was flagged for an interview, it took exactly 12 months for my wife to get the interview. This is the trend with everybody who gets an interview, they get it around the 12 month mark.

So again, I cannot comment if it is true or false.

Waiting2exhale has also used notes and MP and he got it before the 12 month mark. So there is no logic at work here and if the MP is even giving you the correct or wrong information.
