Hi guys i need your help and some advice. I ordered GCMS notes on behalf of my husband...while going through his information it says "undertaking Length (months) :36...is that normal??? Under my information "undertaking Length (months): 12...my husband is little confused...does everyones undertaking length(month) say 36 months. Btw I am sponsoring my husband. Please help!! Thank you in advance

What I know is that it means, if PR is given, Sponsor is responsible for principal applicant for atleast 36 months.

Yeah, i got that now.. we will be signing sponsorship document for 36mnths ryt.

I emailed my MP and his reply was what I already know!!

"Thank you for reaching the office of Mike Sullivan, Member of Parliament for York South-Weston. I have contacted CIC on your behalf and they have informed me that your file # is: XXXXXXX.
That it has been approved the first step of the process on August 22, 2013. It is on the second stage of the process: Medical is valid till July 25th, 2014. It takes 13 months to complete the file starting August 22nd, 2013. It is now waiting an officer to receive then file. Let's know if there is anything we can do to help you."

Online says my application has ben received on July 25.. but the email I got from says they count 13 months from August 22nd.. so am i an August or July applicant?

So that means your file is from August. that's what NDVO is counting. Gagi007 got the same response from MP enquiry too.

my e-cas shows my file recvd on July 5th ..i got my file transferred to NDVO on Aug 6th. i assume i am gonna get the same reply from MP enquiry aswell.

I got the same reply, I applied on July 11, and online it says "application received July 11" but the MP said that since NDVO received my application on August 13 that I will be processed with the August applicants, it's weird

Looking at the trend here, and also the reply from both your and my MP, it appears that they start counting the 13 months from when NDVO receives the application. You applied in July, I applied in July, but both of our files including "rajdeep1986" file got transferred to NDVO in August, so it means we will get processed with the August applicants. Both your file and my files have not been touched yet, "rajdeep1986" is waiting for notes so we will see . . . if all our files have not been touched yet it means we are August applicants . . .

Good.. So i am not alone.. Still waiting is so annoying for me and my wife..!! I wanted her to come here in the summer time so she could enjoy the good weather!! hopefully still is possible!

It's been 2 weeks i applied for Notes.. two more weeks to go....

I am sure i will get the same reply as yours if i go with MP at this time.. I will wait till i get this notes.

I got reply of my GCMS note. I can see they are working on my file as information has been feed in while comparing 2nd GCMS with 3rd one.

I always got reply of my GCMS on 30th day.

Hope this month September applicants will also get some good news.

Do i need to update my address change to NDVO..

when i submitted my application i am in Ontario. later on i moved to Alberta on work.

i changed my address online though.
