Hello everyone I'm back to my home city after my interview I don't think I have to say anything all you guys already know what happened there during interview.

I really don't have energy to talk about it (my interview) all I need your support and advise ...


*My first question is when they do the interview do they record every interview?

*He asked me do you have any documents to give him or show him?
(I gave him 12 + 12 months phone bills records from both sides, Whatsapp chat screen shots, Skype chat screen shots, Few Greeting cards and Western Union Receipt till now).
When i gave him all these documents to him he said you can go now and you are not getting any visa.

My second question is why he asked me for more documents if he was going to say you will not get visa?


*my third question is If he was already decided he is not going to give me visa why he didn't return our pictures and greetings cards that we have submitted along with our application even he has asked me to give him more proofs if I have any (I gave him)?

its sad yar but u dnt wry yaar if they refuse ur visa.. ur wife can appeal against the result and ur all documnt will send by ndvo with ur refusal letter. so u need u wait brother till they send u any letter.. and hope for d best as well data bhali karange

Sahil...hang in there...what happened is terrible and these guys are real jerks...no body deserves to be treated and frightened like this.....

We are not their bloody slaves or prisioners and these guys should be sued for their behaviour !

But for you..its not the end yet....trust me.....just wait till they get back to you.

Worst situation, you'll have to appeal or decide to move settle in another country.....

But for now...just wait buddy..i know its not easy.....but pls hang in there till u hear something from them!

There is still hope, i just want to ask if they returnd ur Passport. And if ur medical is done on 19-03-2013 then its expired after one year means ur medical is expired on 19-02-2014 not on 05-03-2014. Was ur interview chandighar or delhi? hw long ur interview went?

Hello Friends,

Sorry for late reply here, I had a very coaster roller like journey and would like to share briefly so members here can take something from it.

So, i had received a call on 20th of Feb and was asked if i can fly to Canada by 5th of March, i had confirmed that i could, the lady had further confirmed my dob and said thanks and was going to disconnect the call but i quickly asked if they are sending my visa soon, she said i will come to know about it. like, really? you are asking me if i can fly in less than 2 weeks and then saying I will come to know about it? lol. So then my wait began, i had booked my ticket for 3rd March, where i would leave Chennai on 4th early hours and reach Toronto on 4th(a day before my visa expires). I did a MP enquiry on 24th and the MP office got back to us on 26th saying NDVO had written them on 25th (after getting their enquiry) that they have sent the passport today. So, 5 days remaining till i fly and i had no passport, it usually takes 7-10 days to get the passport so i was very worried that i am not getting my passport untill after 5th. I finally got my passport on 1st(Saturday) and i flew from my home city on Monday (3rd March). But, i had a lot to face still, my connecting flight was Air India to Chennai and then a flight to Toronto via Frankfurt. The Air India Flight got delayed few times and in the end flew after 6 hours of its original time :-\ (Never take a Air India flight, not worth the risk) hence, i missed my flight to Toronto, then i had to stay overnight at a hotel and figure out my flight for next day, so now i would fly on 5th and reach Toronto on 5th. So, next day I issued another ticket and reached airport 3 hours before the departure, when i went to check in my luggage where, i was told by airline personnel that as my visa was expiring on 5th so i may not be able to fly! I argued that its valid till 5th so it shouldn't be a problem, after that, a guy with walkie talkie took my passport and itinery with my landing papers and went to a room to confirm, after waiting for more than an hour he confirmed that i can fly, that was a great relief, i was panicking till i heared that! Next the same thing happened in Frankfurt when they had to check if i can fly but there it took 2 minutes to confirm the same.

So, i finally landed in Canada on 5th! The bottom line of the story is it is you who will realise and care what it really means for you to be with your loved one and the struggle you have gone through to make this happen, others are only doing their job and have no emotions attached to it. Please stay strong and in the end all will be good!

I am a march applicant. I recently applied for GCMS notes and it mentions medicals passed, eligibility started with due date in April. Medical and criminality not started. Anyone in similar stage?

Medicals and PCC are both expired now.

With due date in April for eligibility, does it mean that they have to complete eligibility by april and its a sort of deadline?

once eligibility is done, how long does it take for security and criminality?

any thoughts that you can share? I have waited for more than a year now.

Notes also say that interview is recommended. We received document request which we have provided. Hopefully, after reviewing these new documents immig officer waives off our interview.

This whole process sucks. Waiting to hear any insights senior folks can provide.

no they don't have to complete the process by April. Some 2012 forum members have been waiting for 1.5 years to get their visas. There are no such rules that NDVO has to complete the process in 13 months time. Having said that, in general, most applicants get their visas within 13 months time. If a junior visa officer who reviews your application initially recommends interview it is more likely senior officers would go with that and conduct interviews but with additional documents that you have provided he/she may cancel that recommendation. But be prepared for anything.

Don't worry you will get visa soon , in such cases they just check if you have post marriage communications or not and you reactions.
So for sure you will have your visa.

I believe they record interviews so that if there is a dispute they can show the actual footage of the interview (second assumption is if someone appeals the result, judge will have to get both sides of the issue and he/she can review it). This is just my assumption. Myrah might know what happens when NDVO conducts interview. Second question..it is possible that NDVO wants to show that they collected all the documents upto the time of interview and that their process is fair because they decided based on all documentation up until now. Again this is just my assumption based on rational analysis. With NDVO they make up their own rules as they go along. Third question same answer as second one. Just to show they reviewed all the documentations and make a decision based on everything (though they made up their minds even before you opened your mouth to answer first question)...hang in there and once you get your email (if they reject I believe they may just give a generic reason such as 'applicant failed to satisfy us that this relationship is genuine') apply for notes and get the real reason and appeal. Jerks...

this 13 months processing period reflects the past processing time i.e. from 01-01-2013 to 31-12-2013 for 80% of total case processed during the said period. future processing time is nothing to do with this figure of 13 months. it could be less than 13 months for current applicants.

I am sorry bro this happend, Just hope for the best. I think they are going to give you visa as he didn't return any documents of yours, moreover he kept your recent phone bill, skype, whatsapp and WU receipts. So I think he just wanted to see your reaction.

Just wait for their reply, meanwhile I am praying for your visa.

They are really not good people
