All the members who live in same cities (either in India or in Canada) should become friends with each other and should hang out together. Atleast we would be able to stay away from those people who continuously asks us that “when r u going?” or “when is he/she coming here?”...........

I fully understand u! I also had a love marriage, and my parents still don't approve of our marriage. It really does get frustrating. I applied in nov.2012, was married in aug.2012. Me and my husband are also losing our patiences, my mom has done everything to stop our marriage, even emailing Jason Kenney abt my marriage being a fraud! Cuz of all this my husband will be getting interview as per my GCMS notes. I don't know how long that will be and what then outcome of the interview. We are stressed to the max!

I think its somehow easy to cope up with this situation for those who are staying with family. People staying alone gets more frustrated and worried because of lack of support, specially if somebody is staying out of his/her own country. So best thing is too keep yourself busy.

But what we can we do can't stop anybody from asking such kind of silly questions. Also people over here are more concerned about others life.

India will remain like that, its the way it is - gossip and personal chit/chat it is. These things annoy you especially if you back after a 10 year gap like me, I couldn't believe what my beloved Bombay changed to

Few tips I would like to share
- Try and get as much as care insurance paperwork ( this will help you get discounts on care insurance ) - its doesn't have to look too genuine, if you get 5-10 years of car insurance, you start with lot of discount and makes a huge difference
- Try and research jobs around your area, if you really wanna make good money then nursing is a good career here and they always require people

I totally agree with you, people who are living alone will have problems in mixing with the family because of the pressure and also the responsibility that they will be having. The best thing to do is don't get frustrated because of the responsibilities and stay happy and enjoy your life.
