Do you guys know the funny things? If you are a student permit holder you can sponsor you can sponsor your wife with in a week. if you are a PR holder or Canadian citizen you have to wait 10 or more months?????????

three of my friends (students) got visa for their wife visa within week.

what? I don't believe it this is so unfair.

No dear, there lots of reason behind it like most of the fraud cases were coming out due to which they have to verify properly. You can trust your friend. But as per my thought, they do work sincerely. I hope all of us will get visa in time.

Yes because student permit and PERMANENT RESIDENT are totally different visa

You are right this is because of fraud cases, but as they are providing COPR then why waiting time is still same as it was before. Last year applicants are still waiting even in case of first marriage and with no travel history.

No its not true. She must be mistaking, I been to local visa office like my home town in Punjab, They work sincerely.

Well sincerely is not enough...they are taking ages to issue a visa... few year back Same visa they used to issue in 3 months all together...We paid them what they asked for ,they should deliver the result fast.. .... If i could i would send them away from there family and issue a process if they want to meet there loved ones they have to go through 10 month or more process...

Most of us has no real families in canada and this is also the reason we are feeling the depression...... Seriously its a joke....we all can never get back the same time we lost and mental condition can never be the same like used to be....Canada took 4 months for us to finish the approval process after losing our file for 3 months...and now NDVO taking their sweet time....

Hello and welcome: You have crossed first step of sponsorship approval , your file will get transferred to NDVO soon and you'll probably get email about that. 2) There is UIC # for you with the help of which you can check ecas status and Application No is associated with particular applicant and can be used by them for tracking their file.

Thanks for your quick reply. Did people here usually get one acknowledgement email and one for file transfer to NDVO? I thought the first email itself should've mentioned file transfer :-/

i understand the rules. but think about in our love all are same. even the CIC can give temporary visa at least 6 months then they will confirm the PR papers. everybody wants to join their families.

All in all, we all guys were sure when we got married that we have to wait for at least 6 to 7 months and have to live separately from each other. I pretty much sure all you guys also ....

Yes most of the people get acknowledgement mail altogether but sometimes they transfer file after few days so you can wait and check ecas status for the same.

No as earlier they were issuing visa within 2-4 months after applying and here people are waiting from so many months after passport submission.

All in all, we all guys were sure when we got married that we have to wait for at least 6 to 7 months and have to live separately from each other. I pretty much sure all you guys also ....
