My E cAS ALSO SHOWS ONLY APPLICATION RECEIVED. Even we have sent them our medicals.
If the would not have received the medicals, they would have mailed you.
It is upon their discretion whether to update the same or not in e- cas. Sometimes from application received it directly goes to decision made.
Don't worry.
Now we just have to wait . I dobnt know how long though, as recently they have gone for strike.
Our processing might get delayed due to this .

I am new to this forum...my details are:

Application filed:7th march.2013

Medical sent:26th march,2013

Passport requested :23th april,2013

Passport sent: 24th april,2013

Passport received:27th april,2013


I have something that is bothering me..Since I have sent the Medical on 26th March,2013 but the status hasn't changed to "medicals received".It still says "application received on 7th march,2013"

I hv read a few posts saying tht their status was updated to "Application received and Medical received" since the doctor says she has already sent the report to the embassy ppl.

I am a lil' upset abt this matter..cn sumone pls help..!!

that's really positive.
usually address change to canada means good news and your status will soon change to decision made and get back your passport.
Can you tell a bit more about yourself and your wedding to get some idea..

first marriage? have kids? just anything that would help.

applied on 19th april still waiting for ppr....majority have got the ppr ...few are still waiting... and my address on ecas shows my husbands in canada

i have no idea...coz i just got aor letter havent got my sa letter as yet complained to cic they say my file still in canada and before sat i shld get my sa letter....they said due to strike all files are delayyed from canada....i really dont get it....called cic 4 times everytim a diff answer then my husband complained and these guys all applogised and said u wld get the letter within 5 days...now waitin lets see...they said my letter was mailed on 23rd may but we havent recd it as yet...

I have 5 passports and travelled every year since i was born....but only on holidays i dont think anyone can have that much travel history like me...but its all for vacations so makes no sense to hold someones application...its only in cases who have stayed more than 6 months in another county etc

Since last year cic ndvo use to send passport request at the end of the process and people use to get their passport back in around 2-4 weeks but now they changed it as they ask for passport quiet early during the process so wait and watch... Hopefully u guys will get ppr quiet soon and yea please check ur spam folder as sometimes their email goes to spam folders so check it u might have the email there...

ya always keep a chk on that..anyways gettin ppr within 3 months of application is normal...so have to wait cant do anything else

Even if u have travelled less thn 6 months out of india they will check each n every detail of history... They use interpol service thru... Dnt wry...

Hi,

I am sponsoring my husband.i am a PR in Canada.

I have completed the file for spouse visa however not submitted yet as i have some doubts which are unanswered.

Firstly: Please clear some doubts: The Form # 1344 E asking for principal applicant name. Is it my husband or me?
YES: the person who is going to immigrate. If you are sponsoring then your spouse name should be on it. This is an undertaking by Canadian resident of citizen.

As per my understanding i have put my husband name under principal applicant and under personal details i have given all my details.
Now as this is an online form after filling when i click on validate, it has two boxes on the top of every page with applicant name and DOB and under these boxes my family name and DOB is appearing.Please confirm is it the correct?

2nd Question: i already have the last page of this 1344 form with my husband's sign on it as my husband has couriered the file to me with all his documents and forms attached where his signature was required and now i have to attach the rest of the pages of this form after filling it online.The concern is that my husband has sent to me the page 6 of 7 of 1344 after signing it as it requires husband and wifes signature, however On the top of the 6 of 7 page it shows my husband's name as applicant name and his DOB, where in the pages i have filled it shows my name and DOB on it. So is it ok if i attach this 6 of 7 page which shows my husband name as applicant name and his DOB on the top boxes with rest of the pages that i printed out with my name and DOB as applicant name or Shall i use fluid to hide my husband name and DOB and then put my name and DOB on the top box of 6 of 7 page. and also the pages of 1344 form which i have printed out has a 9 digit code on the bottom right of every page which is the same on all the pages however the page # 6 of 7 that my husband has sent to me with his signature doesn't have any numeric code at the bottom right, so should i put that code by pen or should i leave it as it is or do you think that its a big issue and i should ask my husband to courier me the complete 1344 form from india after signing the 6 of 7 page along with all the pages.

Similar situation with father, 5 passports and they asked history since 1970's

I had to fill 3 excel sheets - 19 trip to USA, none more than 6 months yet he was asked FBI

I had 6 passports when I got my PR done in 2001, never took long but it was within Canada from Student to PR
